If you can, make hell
For those who become demons
Make them feel at home

We are to come and leave and not return,
But hand our secret scroll to those who'd be.
I'll pass the writings on which passed to me,
And shrink to blackened ash with flameless burn.

As far as those who'll be--of whom will earn,
That secret scroll containing some of me,
Quite like yet quite unlike, in no way me--
They'll mourn for I'll have gone and won't return.

To live on in a heart or memory,
Is not living or life or anything,
But trite consoling words of sympathy--

A metaphor or best a simile--
suspending truth, and grief that loss will bring.
In truth no more am I nor shall I be.

sad
but true
I have learned
to live
without
you

I left my fake smile
At my house
Next to my innocence
I hide my fears
In a locked cabinet
Near where I hold hate
The hate that makes the floorboards
Creek deep within the night
Trying not to wake up the past
So I can sneak a few handfuls of Cheerios
To help crave my selfishness
I want you to count
The dark circles around my eyes
The circles are like the center of a tree
The amount of circles counts up
To the last time I had imagination
Come play at my house
This house is nothing but a butterfly net
It captures all the beautiful things
That flap around my life

I am a logophile. A lover of words.
I love words. Language. The way sentences can be constructed and broken down. How you can persuade, intimidate, bribe, barter, bully, influence, tempt, and so on. I love poetry. Slang. Lyrics. Quotes. Phrases. I love the pronunciation of words. The way we can read between the lines. How we can distinguish "Okay" from "ok." from "Kay:)" from "k.". How some words can send shivers down your spine, be it from how they're worded to how they're spoken to who spoke them to what meaning it holds. I love the quiver of the lip when someone says something that hurts. The stammer, the raw emotion, the shake in their voice, the tears that swell up in their eyes.

And I love words even more
when they come from your mouth.

Hey little soldier sing me a song
a melody to help me move on.
Sit down Sir and and dance along,
wind blows harder for those who howl.

Hey Mister, don't be so sad,
because soon we'll see my loved ones.
This world made of dirt breaks us all,
even the one who holds the hammer one day will fall.

You see, for some time I've been around,
I know how all things turn out.
Then is this the end of the countdown?
I still don't know what any of this was about.

I'll gladly tell you the one meaning of this world
if it can help your mind get eased,
it's the one you choose to live this life for*.
Then the soldier might have smiled pleased.
Been working on this one for hours.
Hope someone likes it.

Has black wings,
and dusty feathers.
Brings dire winds
and awful weather.

Flies in packs,
dark news wearer.
The skies rats,
heavens tearers.

The grim  shadow,
Morrigan's arrows.
With greed they'll shallow,
and feast on the gallows.
