The dean in the den
Of a messy mind
Delivers a poem
When he is awake

Be it long or short
Sweet or soar
Wise or otherwise

Much depends
On the mood
Of his dreams
And the jury of readership

The coffee *** just signalled, Ready,
So I pour the cream before the java:
A cup of divergent thinking.
There are roads running
In opposite directions,
Sharing points of similarity:
A tree, a sign, me.
Inside or outside the box of thinking,
Using the lower and upper ladder rungs
To paint the same wall,
Prologues and epilogues to the same story,
Lawyers in clown suits,
Children using,
Kittens chewing slippers,
Dogs in litter boxes,
Earth cooling,
Healing and feeding the masses,
Elected monarchies... NO monarchies,
Sleeping in or getting up,
Cursory letter to family and friends
(Though this is coming to an end),
Making love while wearing gloves,
The moon moves east to west
In the blink of sleep,
Churches giving alms and unlocking doors,
Schools excelling,
Parents attending.
To juxtapose is divergent,
Like sobering up with detergent
(You may be clean, but are you dry?).

If insurgents were divergent,
We'd have more convergence.

The human mind is running
the latest software upload
of this paradigm shifting program~
that calculates genetic algorithms
into vast patterns of random regularity
birthing the seeds of intelligent transformation
by out-solving itself
upon a flowering field~
of continuously evolving functions
displaying fractal solutions of subtle nuance~
braced in between a boundary of infinitely opposed edges.

...the Universal Mind does this in every dimension for an eternity.

I simply cannot complain about the aches in my brain
out of a shear respect for the absolute profundity of the situation.
I've started reading quite a stimulating book called, "The Singularity is Near", by Ray Kurzweil.
I haven't made it to pg. 100 yet but was inspired to attempt to summarize the main idea in the verses above...Enjoy:-)

Yesterdays have no rights.
Not a single moment
Ever as lucid as the
Now.

Elusive memories, thin,
Transparent sheets of
Recollection.
How did

Last Wednesday feel?
How much love is left from
My first tingling teenage kiss?
Wind, fallen leaves

From a long forgotten
Decade, torn; crumpled
Numbers in a kitchen
Bin.
Always love or like, all alike,
Kin or none, friend or foe; hate none,
Lift yourself above all weakness,
Emerge strong & hit the ultimate goal.
Believe in boundless bliss beyond                 25

Purge yourself out and converge pure;
Free from lust, greed, anger & delusion.
Look behind the eye for truth beyond,
Unscathed by matter that does not matter
Believe in boundless bliss beyond           26

Cultivate prayer of the ultimate Supreme
Be good, do good and go with the good
No good to amass wealth without sharing
The poor and destitute deserve a better deal
Believe in boundless bliss beyond           27

Absorbed in pursuit of carnal desires,
Life culminates to cease in disease,
Mind is blind and blank of virtues till end,
Sins & sinners rule the roost without end.
Believe in boundless bliss beyond            28

Wealth that reigns is none but one that ruins,
Rich are frightened by the shadows they cast,
Joy of pelf pales off in hoarding and hiding,
Spiritual health is holier than physical wealth
Believe in boundless bliss beyond            29

Regulate breath, sensitize sense,
Condition the body and soul,
Through meditation and prayer,
Free the fickle mind to firm up,
And search for eternal delight.
Believe in boundless bliss beyond       30

Stir up your inner eye more focused,
Behold; the Lord lives in your heart,
All you need is a mentor that helps,
To liberate yourself from material life,
And capture the rapture all abound.
Believe in boundless bliss beyond        31

Worship of the Lordship is the only ship
To cruise and cross the ocean of life,
Be it chanting sacred hymns in extol,
Or be it a service to untidy society,
The essence of life is to transcend,
And attain Supreme above the self.
Believe in boundless bliss beyond.        32
Sriman Aadi Shankaracharya of 8th century, a renowned sage and saint of Indian sub-continent is an avid exponent of Hindu divine philosophy that encompasses the tenets of all religions and beliefs world over. He postulated the realm of divine bliss over the dominant thought of materialism in his poem in Sanskrit viz., Bhaja Govindam. An earnest effort has been made in bringing out its sum and substance in modern poetic verse easy to read and appreciate the philosophy generally accepted by all communities at large.

It wasn't what was expected, never was
It meant to be as was seen,
"Where would you hide darkness"
"Where would it be unseen"
In the sight of all
In the sight of the seen,
For the best kept secret
Is that we are but husks
For the darkness lives in-between.

We were always afraid,
We had a phobia of the suffocating
Essence of darkness of all unseen.
But it looked through the cracks
Like a window we were showing
It things other wise never seen,
It feeds in here, in those it tainted.

Pride
Envy
Gluttony
Lust
Anger
Greed
Sloth

Each twisted into their purposed need,
We all had a bit of one a little of the other,
Its us, with out these who would we be,
But feed they did, for its own prize,
For we thought it was within the dark places
When it was already here.

The pupil expands like ecstasy, where
Purity was, only darkness sees. it gestures
Our thoughts hiding within, Free thought
You think but the whispers not heard
From deep within.

They will never be in darkness, where we
Think they live, for there greatest trick is
That we are their doors, opening and closing
A protective skin. They are of twilight of
Those voices that made us do it, no insane
Moment, uncontrollably driven, where does
It hide, through the crack let in, the darkness
Is in the light, beware of what is really seen.

who does one really put their trust in
if anyone at all

what makes us trust someone
do you feel you can trust someone

most of us can't even trust ourselves
yet think about putting trust in another

TRUST

reliance on the integrity,
strength,
ability,
surety,
etc.

confident expectation of something, hope
a person on whom or thing on which one relies

the obligation or responsibility imposed
on a person in whom confidence or authority is placed
a position of trust

charge, custody, or care
to leave valuables in someone's trust

my trust comes from one

GOD

my trust in him
gives me trust

Angelical whisper
Beyond the spectrum of sound
Speaks to the downtrodden
Where brokenness abounds
Surely there must be a reason
For living in this maze
Dead ends like lost lovers
Children gone astray …

To live the life of morals
To seek out happiness
To hold a dying friend
To forgive the Judas kiss
All last but a moment
Like an eternal fleeting glance
As we pray somehow forever
   Holds a second chance...

Lets be real, what do you want out of life
Are you happy where you are at in life

Do you feel unsatisfied and you want something different in life.
Are you uneasy about talking that first step towards your dream.

Are you truly happy are just content, just cruising in life
Do you ever say, ****, my life is so boring, day in and day out.

Do you not think of these things, because you were taught a simple lifestyle, brainwash to think, that you will be the person that you are or the person that someone else wants you to be.

life throws so much at us everyday, weather good are bad it's always there.
we all know that the only person that can truly drive you is yourself and the only motivation you truly get comes from your thoughts.

Find an inspiration that can push you. It could be from a mentor, music, a friend or a loved one.

This is so easy to say and yes so hard to do or even understand what i am trying to say.

One day it will come clear, not necessarily this writing, but your true purpose in life.

When you stand tall
Looking beyond the clouds
Vast nothingness
Welcomes you
Lucky you have reached
Through the filters
Your soul set free
As it now soars above
Levitating among space
Filled with celestial truth
A higher resonance
Your frequency matches
With the similar wavelength
Burdened illusions down below
Here, truth has found safe haven
You enter the sanctum sanctorum
Privileged among hallowed souls
Charismatic, euphoric
At the benevolence of this place
Graffiti on the hearts
And hymns emanating from souls
A rhythm with the awareness
You flew beyond
Nothing, to hold you back
Light is seen,
Power is unseen
Product is seen
Producer is unseen
Hardware is seen
Software is unseen
So too ….
Creation is seen
Creator is unseen
What is seen is within
The wavelength of vision
Unseen is beyond
Way behind eye-band
Seen is known
Unseen is felt
Seen is material
Unseen manifests
Explore the frequency
Catch the cosmic signals
Mind you, remind you
Mind is the only mode
With its boundless band
For an everlasting bond

i've been running around in circles, hiding from my own lie's

living in my own chaotic delusions and insecurities

with thoughts of mellow drama and lonely dreams of sin

i think about my life and think of where i've been

i feel nothing but tension in a real life fantasy

i seek through my own shadow, a life with no dreams

i'll shed my skin to find my only find friend

i am just worthless lire, i am just an imbecile

screaming at every step i take, killing myself with every breath i take

leaving every promise empty, trying to find a center in me

mother mary won't you whisper something good i've done

why can't i sleep forever or start things over
