you
You are an incomplete thought
a wandering boat
set to sail in my mind.

You posses that magic
That can take me away
but neither of us can drive.

You are all the radiant colors in a sun beam
you are all the hollows of the night

You are nothing I know
yet I studied you so well
I even traced the details of your smile

sometimes I give in and I let your hollows caress me

But sometimes
I Give up myself to complete you .
Our love can not exist.
      Echo's final plight.
           Ero's arrow askew.

Come find me beyond the
clouds.
I'll wait among the whispering
veils,
      among the weeping
willows.
i wait for you at the breaking of
dawn.
I was hungry, you fed me.
I was thirsty, you gave me water.
I was cold, you gave me a blanket.
I was sad, you made me laugh.
I was tired, you let me sleep.
I lost my favourite bangle, you bought me a new one.
I wanted new clothes, you bought me new clothes.
I needed money, you gave me money.

As I became older I realized,
When I was hungry, it was your food you gave me.
When I was thirsty, it was the last bit of your water that you gave me.
When I was cold, it was your blanket you gave me.
When I was sad, you went out of your way just to make me laugh.
When I lost my bangle, you bought me a new one regardless of how little money you had left for yourself.
When I wanted clothes, you bought clothes for me even though you needed them more.
When I needed money, you gave me the last bit of money that you had.

I have been so privileged and blessed to have a mother who has always been willing, regardless of the situation to sacrifice and give without a second thought. A mother who has shown me the true meaning of unconditional love. Thank you for being the mom that you are and I thank God everyday for giving me the mother that I most needed.
To a mom who has not only been a mom, but a best friend too. A mother who I can be who I am without the fear of judgement.
I miss the way she smiled at me.
If I look hard enough,
I can see her standing there,
curlers in her hair,
kissing me
before the cancer took her.
Notice the way I change when you enter the room.
Notice the way you make my lips curl into a smile when you speak to me.
Notice the way your face reflects so handsomely in my brown eyes.
Notice the way my body shudders beneath your touch.
Notice the way I taste on your lips, lust and desire.
Notice the way that I can’t live without you.

Notice the way I change when you leave.
Notice the way I have no smiles left, only frowns.
Notice the way you can’t see a thing through my glassy eyes.
Notice the way that my hip bones poke through my tee shirt.
Notice the way my lips chap and bleed when you kiss me.
Notice the way that I’m dying without you.
