My poetry is always written
In the heat of the moment

The big picture is often neglected
It is but
One moment in all my life

The perspective might be messed up
And the feelings exaggerated
But it's nice to have that moment captured

When my poems are trending I am filled with glee. The red notification makes me leap for joy. Because when my poetry is trending I feel like I am making an impact on the world. When my poetry is trending I am ecstatic.

I want to go back
Before the me I am now
I want to go back
To the me I was then

I want to live in the world
Full of magic
I want to live in the world
Where the moon was reachable
And the earth simple

Maybe roses having thorns isn't the issue,
Maybe it's our need to touch everything that's beautiful
