I read some
I'm out of my league here
I vent with words so some can hear
Possible what I write
Is highschool writes
Compared to my reads here
Still I will Penn as clear
As I can
I will read and learn it
I will understand your work
This basic poet

Within my presence
I feel a great void is to be filled
And I stare into the empty light
And I blink to the eruption of my heart
And in this moment, I present myself
With two options:
Fulfill my written life
Or break under the weight of the pen.

i get myself dizzy
and remember why i fell in love
with your steadiness.

This morning
i came up
with the most beautiful
poem.

And then
I forgot it.

someday it will
come again.
someday someone
will come in.

a star
with the deepest depths in the eyes
with the gentlest of breaths
and endless soul in the smile

one day
i'll forgive this pain
not forget -
forgive.
