Blossoms are the
Hopes and dreams
Attached to the thorny
Stems of life
We all have to climb
To smell the roses
An old radio playing a new pop song in the background.
Some birds in the trees outside.
A family member cooking in the kitchen.
The breathing of your lover in the early morning.
Happy laughter from your neighbours house.
The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want
I dwell in fields of green
Led by His hand I may drink my fill
From streams where few have been
Though I may walk through death's shadowed vale
His presence calms every fear
Through the dark dangers He sets a feast
Whenever my foe comes near
His goodness and mercy shall follow me
Throughout my days here on earth
Then take me home where forever my eyes
Shall behold all His glorious worth!

I'm liked cracked glass
I will shatter if not handled with care
Loving you has done this to me

I tried all the remedies
I tried to heal the wounds
All I could do was numb the pain
A temporary fix
grilled stamina spiced with arrogance
marinated egos in bitter gall source
a touch of pickled common pride
a suggestion of mashed personality
served generously with indifference
on a platter of wonderful ignominy
going like hot cakes in these sad days
of lies emblazoned against night skies
hurry my man while stocks last
and before the merchants of doom
begin their desperate auctions of ethics
done with cynical glee and callousness
held together by a spread of mediocrity
enhanced
The more you think about the past
The more you live in it
God is the answer in all our lives
He comes with glory to help us
Survive
Every trouble that descend on
The weary
God is the glory, the hope we
All need
Come to the foot of His throne
Bow down and humble yourself
Where God alone knows
All our troubles and needs
God is the glory, majestic in joy
Power and hope for a trouble world
God is the glory, praise God for mercy
For being our King
God is the glory, the hope and for mercy
