As we stood face to face...
Waist-deep in our insecurities,
the years...
Would continue to
revolve around us with nonchalance.
Soothing the wounds we had traded.

The universe...
Would envelope us.
Like cosmic balm.
Healing us...
Catalysing us,
into melding together.
So we'd emerge out of the fray
as a single entity.

An entity...
Oblivious to each other's imperfections.
An entity...
Capable of discarding past discrepancies.
An entity...
Granted a new lease.
An entity...
Worthy of another breath.

To forget.
To forget the scent you left hidden in the threads of my clothing.
To forget the jolt of electricity that paved it's way down my spine each time your gaze caught mine.
The ecstasy I felt when our fingers intertwined and the pinky promises we swore we'd cherish forever.
I'd wish to forget the constellation of freckles spread across your cheeks.
I would wish to forget how to love and how it feels to have my heart shattered into tiny fragments of glass.
If I met a genie in a lamp I'd ask him to erase my memory... To make me forget. That is my one wish.

Eriko
a sullen face glimpsed through my window
sunken hazel eyes, or maybe a stark blue
well I can't really tell
the shadows cast down from the brow
and sharp cheekbones
trampled glowing red
maybe from the outside shears
or the clipped ears
and rough, auburn hair
nearly black from the pooling night
a green jacket, lifted collar
and a zipper which catches glints of pearly moon
I unlock my window
and raise the pane high
so that the air smelling of lavender
like the wound of gentle laughter
wafts into my room of quiet corners
I beckon in, waving at
the lonesome figure
he simply looks and blinks once
I ask for his name
he says he is an author
of what, I ask
of all the terrible things, he says
and I shiver, knowing
that beautiful things come
after such unsettling
encounters
didn't really know where I was going with this. just enjoyed the plot.

Through a deep saddened
Darkness
Comes light
Your forever fight is near
The end
Hearts can mend and people can
Heal
Don't let what you feel
Lead you astray
In the distance you'll see your ray
Of sunshine
And it will all be
Fine

Demons live inside of us, we learn how
To live with
Them
We mustn't forget we can also live without
Them
We can be a shiny gem in a sash full of imitations
Remember what the sun feels
Like
And the sand in between our
Summer toes
How warm the oceans water is
And how deep it
Flows
What the night sky looks like
Among a bed full of stars in
Perfect sync
Looking up and seeing that powerful jet plane
Going anywhere and for once
Not wish you
Were on
It
Because you found peace and love
Where you are
And would never want to stray that
Far

Pray

That I may taste of you

Worship at your slender blemishless feet

Feast upon the divine banquet that is your core

Serenade you with praise deserving of your graceful form

That I may traverse the land that is your body

With eyes, hands, lips, tongue...

That I may make your mind my home

That I may always, and forever

Remain in your pulchritudunous presence

Alas, I can not

For you have trapped me in this live cage

Kept me in the proverbial limbo

A bare whisper away

Yet, still screams and echoes apart

The pain weighing heavily on my strained vocal cords

Slowly crushing my fragile heart

But I bear my cross with dignity, the constant torture

And I sit in silence

Watching, waiting

Hoping
For those of us in limbo...
Happy Valentine's Day.
Oh how I miss you.
Your sweet brown eyes
The smile you give me when I'm staring at you for to long.
The way you tell me about your day and how it all got better because you got to hear my voice.
I miss how you touch me and everything seems just fine.
Your dimple on the left side of your cheek when I tell you I love you.
The way you hold my hand and kiss me
Just the way I catch you looking at me from the corner of my eye.
God I miss you.
I have read so many wonderful poems,
haiku's, 10 words, so many more, and none are alike!
But we tend to forget about spoken word poems,
Hello Poetry, can you make it possible to share our spoken words as well as our massive pile on's of endless poetry. Spoken Words would add to the sight, and only make it better.
I wish I could also Use Hellopoetry on my mobile phone, in an app,
I'm not sure about anyone else, but that would maybe add to HP

Please consider what I've had to say, c:
Please send repost like and share and comment anything else you think the sight needs since it's growing in great ways. Please share and like if you agree c:
