Beauty at its finest definition,
Oh, how your elegance illuminates,
An impossible question of my blessed fate;
To find one free from God’s volition?
Sublime design, fair girl, a muse for all,
Variegated verges of comely charm,
Your vibrant voice shall serve as an alarm,
Fervour of such bliss, t'is against the law.

Wondering in recluse how fortune came;
Open oceans of insecurity,
Inquiring how long you will remain,
But, you supply extant felicity;
Imperfect perfections, make you matchless;
Mere words cannot depict your faultlessness.
i wrote this sonnet around 2 years ago, it's super cheesy and was originally in shakespearean form but i've modernised it here (i tried)

Forgotten Heart
I saw you
then
I adored you
then
I loved you
then
I missed you
then
I yearned for you
And now
I'm scared
because
I feel like
I'm starting
to hate you
:'(

Let this be a wake up call for those who still have it,
For so many people take it for granted.

It's there for you every day.
It's there for you even when it's not.
It's a part of almost everything you eat and drink.
It's a part of almost everything you do and make.
It's in your pizza.
It's in your soda.
It's in your charity.
It's in your tears.
It's in your wars.
It's in your blood.
It feeds you.
It fuels you.
It heals you.
It cleans you.

It helps you get through the day.
Day after day.
Week after week.
Month after month.
Year after year.
Some people love it.
Some people like it.
Some people don't notice it.
But all people need it.

And yet many people squander it.
They pollute it.
They abuse it.
They waste it.
They destroy it.
They consume it without even realizing it.
They demand it be there for them all of the time.
They do all of this without ever thinking that one day,
They could reach for it and only find air.
Until that day has come.
Until their bread and water is gone.
And you're left scrambling,
Scared and desperate,
Wondering how long you can manage to survive,
Without your bread and water...
You were my bread and water...

Wouldn't it be nice.
If we died side by side.
Holding hands,
Your head next to mine.
Our ribs crushed together,
From a truck that hit us on the side.

Wouldn't it be nice
If they cremated us side by side
In the funeral pyre we built
With the heat of our own love.
Burning in a pit,
'Til we're charred and black inside.

Wouldn't it be nice
If they threw our ashes to the sea
Off a cliff,
Floating to the breeze.
Without a care,
Just like you and me.

Wouldn't it be nice,
If our souls drifted together.
Towards oblivion,
Hand-in-hand we'll leap.
Let's gravitate from this world,
Alone at last, just you and me.

sometimes you just want to be alone
in your very own room
just complete hush-hush
scanning your thoughts
and predicting your future
accepting yourself
not keeping that thick, unlit mask
in order to dress and impress

multitudes of pressure begins to melt away
it's just you
and you only
and it becomes one of those rare occasions
where everything and anything is about you
and no one can mock or criticise
no one can tell you no
no one will have any psychological power
but yourself

and this is when you lull yourself to sleep
you decide
to finally rest
and be at inner peace

in dire situations
the crowd is staring
when they're really not
it's a hallucination
a mere illusion
you're sweating
in all of this godforsaken confusion
and in disbelief
you tell yourself
it's life or death-

but in reality, it's really not that bad
you're over-thinking
it doesn't matter
an intense, ephemeral feeling
will be over very soon

in life
you cannot always be successful
therefore
you must strive to do so as frequently as possible
and when you reach the penultimate of happiness and bliss
you must do your utmost not to let it slip away
