The white flowers poured their color
Into the flowing seas
As I poured my soul endlessly
Into the streams of still water

The medley of the rain speaks to me
In its crystal droplets and clear pitter-patter
It tells me that she needs no another
So, I hold back my tears

I tell myself some other day
If I write and write again
About the sadness of the rain
Time will wash away her beautiful face
Aditya Roy Feb 2020
Tomorrow, tomorrow
But not today
I'll have had forgotten my past, by tomorrow
With the passing of each and every reign
Like a bird stretches it's aged wings
The tears will glow in lost contemplation, listless
The list of things will turn to endless rosy memory
Which will flit away like that bird
Like the wilting of petals
When finally I see you in the light
Yew trees and a dull breeze will take your place
I shall miss your face
And the bird her coruscating cage
On a past that is long gone.

If not for rain
The sky wouldn't fall
But I guess clouds would always be white
Without the need for silver linings
In the story
Of every person
That starts at day-break

Life
Could be so mundane
Mellifluous apperception of problems.
Aditya Roy Mar 2020
I don't need your satisfaction
Your writings on the wall
I don't your enthusiasm
Writings on the wall
I don't need your absent mind
Writings on the wall
I don't need your mind
Writings on the wall
I don't need your abnegation
Writings on the wall
I don't need your capacious heart
Writings on the wall
I don't need your calamity
I don't need your anonymity
Because the writings written in black
Anyway writings on the white wall
Meant for a passerby
Who never wants to go the extra mile

******* at the shoes
And stuck in the
Time Warp
Imagine that
If you get caught in a problem
Hope I can take care of you

******* at the shoes
A simple beat
A promising feeling
Waking in the morning
Feeling the place in my heart

A heart's a place
Where keep that key
Every now and then
Channeling the inner fury
The visions slip into time

The pervading norm
Be a normal citizen
With a heart of gold
Cause this is a heart of silver
In a gold mine
Of strangers
Of this purple Haze
Finished in a black handbag
The same gun
The purse carries
Things that keep trapped hearts
Shut
The same hall you've been through
With some fool's dream
Or nightmare of the city lights
Around the star's constellation
The person that you were
Will not be the same, to you once more

You could inspire a nation
If you were the right color
Of a white yet black race

Found in the mornings
That yearns
For the noon
Days away
Must somewhat prudent
If I know it is

It's you

To write a lyric on your scrounged out drawers
Would be war of a poet's smiles
So, I take a flower from your hat
Are you Thomas or Bob?
I can't ignore the broken corners near the eye

You need **** the thirst of buds
With the graves of men and women
Bow at the altar of the Joan of Arc
As she billows like the flames and blood

Everything is faded
As she fakes
Like a guileless child
Or a woman who is mine
Aditya Roy Jan 2019
The poet in me washes away
The calling card of the hero
Fades away like age
Tossing the leaves in the summer breeze
For the old people
With my hand
I look at the secret spot of poets
It's under a sycamore tree
Full of metaphor and rhyme
My hand is raking leaves
As I search for my deeply buried
Poetry

I’m out of line
You’re posing in front of the sign
I’m trying to drive
I give you five
But I can’t do much from sitting in my car
Yes you’re gonna be a star
Same with politicians I guess
They stand in front of your political beliefs
When you don’t know where you’re going
And you’re in a mess
Everyone acknowledges what he’s doing
But if they are in a hurry
They should still consider looking at the next sign
Instead of getting in a flurry of activity

After all who’s sign is it anyway
Not the government
‘Cause every time I go down the street
I see the foundation of a pavement
It homes homeless people and street musicians alike
We need to put the person who steals our land
His head on the spike
Or our hearts will vote for a future promising a fist full of desert sand
Of hatred and coerced communism
That stinks of an ideal that never reveals
Of truth that never sets you free

Once part of the legislative team
Their pockets turn into the antithesis of autumn leaves
That start of as rusty during campaigning and during their swearing in they turn green
Now tell me what should we do with the people who steal our signboards
Or our right to see the signboards
To find our direction
Instead of believing like simpletons
In leaders who believe in a second term is and that a statue in their name needs *******

Simply put we should find our leaders
Instead of them finding us
We should catch them stuffing their pockets
Before they catch us stuffing ours
Not let anyone block what is ours
So that they can propagandise for hours
We need a tolerant leader that sees all
Stays once and allows us to search for options instead of making us crawl
The one and only Lord
This is about a random person blocking a signboard to pose and a person , driving by, who is in a hurry. That is why he cannot get out to ask him to move so practically he should look for the next sign. But politically most people don't. They stick to one party.

Is it a familiar
Feeling
That we ask why when we wonder how?
This is a poem on heartbreak.
Aditya Roy Jul 2019
You contain these facts, in these ledgers meant for numbers
Meatier in someone else's  hands
Thence, you look for statistics in winning
But, never granted tha winning for sheer hucksters
Maybe, in some time apart
From all the door to door selling
The markets are burgeoned with the retention of your customer's interest
Too bad, it's rather noisy in this strata of sensory deprivation
Lost in the crowd, is just an excuse for unable to talk about the things that matter to the person next door
So you won't get the best price in this marketplace reality, really?

Hidden trains
Going through a trembling tunnel
A rain is crumbling the rails
And train looks fun
I've knelt in front of the station
Hoping the girl won't go
The places I've been
And the radio's and it's a 'lone gunner

Keep the chances
And the system's down
And the glances down again

The faces call you there
In the rain of paradise
There is death
It's only fun and a slice of the pie
Cut by a guillotine
Try your hand at the chances
The system's done
And the computer won't work that way
She's a software
I can't store
And subliminal side
Of the traces of a taste
It's a perfume
Heartbroken and the resumed love
And the affliction changes your woven story
She's a part of the trap
Of a spider web
Love's a simple game

That's how I feel
It's feeling that could've bought
And sold
The traces of steps and years that went by
You learn more from the experiences
Breaking down the walls of communication
To make way for more love
Hurt by the edges of a shape
Of the ring

You think she's a diamond
All in the rough and dug up
The trombones play the cast of the plastic perfection
And random memories' have gone to waste

You're a green leprechaun ****** by the gadgets
The money is the only ecological solution
To your mother
You rich men
Dancing on a planet
Of blue
And bruised egos keep jumping into space
Whereas a field of gold could as green as the fences
White as the sunlight
The yellow sunrise brings your people
TOgether in a dream
It's a surreal word of lost belonging
A forgetfulness that makes being a zoned-out radio
The *** of gold comes at the colorful side of the rain
The niceties last you a lifetime.
Hope you like this poem
Took out the time to create a hymn
An anthem for heartache
If you're heartbroken then relive your heartbreak

Mindfulness is a crucial thing
It allows us to be different
From romantic and unfeeling
If you feel my verses incorporate spirituality
Your idea of love is beautiful, then your mind shines brighter than the stars
And my fingers have burnt trying to count them out among women
Holiness is a beautiful thing
It is different
From being human or Godly
Such is the primal nature
When we may seek pleasures unknown
Or don't seek them at all
I do not judge such a maculate jaguar such if asked
Your skin has far more fairness than compare
If the darkest skies had your eyes in their corpus
The moon would look for the clouds like a weary wanderer
Such is your light, which unconditional makes others envious
I a being love your every part that hopes you shine on my stride
As I step out of the seas beyond comparison
Why do I compare when I'm glad to be alive
It's because you never ask me what could be wrong in being amorous

The reason you should
Write
Should not come from someone else
It should be purely your own
Intrinsically melted with your identity
Like the flame that sings from the softness of the ground
Slightly tepid like the mind of a writer
The reason you should
Write
Should not come from the bookstore
Looking for love and drugs in your poetry
If it is the drugs then leave it
If you are looking for ****** on some avenue
Leave the trade
Move away and let an honest man
Take your space
That is why I write
Aditya Roy Feb 2019
I love the colorful clothes you wear
The way that it suits the skin so fair
Your perfume that lightens the air
The expression so daring
I think I'm fainting

You are like a song in the rain
Dancing on the streets and lanes
Your pitter-patter sounds pleasant
I must be dreaming of different seasons

But, I'm getting good excitations
I can't any more patient
I need your loving attention
This tension is killing me slowly
With each reaction
Aditya Roy Nov 2020
There is a storm inside of men
An unrelenting fire that breaks chains
That wants to break free as well turn into blazing wildfire
A moon that wanes and descends into grottoes of outlandish man-made landscape
Until it is drained of iridescent color much like the conversation we once had in the colonnade
That wished to stray from affairs of blue Earth, never to meet the lonely blue-eyed spirits who once abandoned us
Soulless down on the shore of desolation among thousands of pebbles
And despair wears a face and walks among people or sits in streets, deformed just the same and stumbles
But it can't meet those promising eyes of the land, it has no self confidence or reputation to match the many illustrious folk in the city
There is a cloud that covers and the town burns at night
The sun burns too, at purple dusk amidst the oak trees which were golden at noon
That lonesome branch wishes to hide Apollo's gilded chest under its canopy keeping the warm to itself
For it knows there's much more to freedom than letting in the sunshine for a distant tulip
There's more than what meets eye of the people who have been born ignorant
Because the truth is unable to set them free no matter how much it tries to
Some people I have to thank for letting me stay here for so long. S. Olson, Indeed, Carlo C. Gomez, Traveler, Lure ***, From the Ashes, Melancholy of Innocence, Weeping Willow, Ghost of Jupiter, A Slow Heyoka, and the whole community.

An inchoate who is looking to get better
In these familial dark worlds, lintels ringing
Freewill, think I am going to be a freedom rebel
Rebel and recuse yourself, the rights are to stand up
To incoherent talk of honesty, with the writs to dictate ownership
Ignorant talk of slavery, when bravery is mercy
Sober and brightening, still waking up to this kindness there-and-that
I've accustomed myself, to writing myself some double-talk
Questioning every thought, the music is mapped out for the greater good
Cutting through the noise, cherishing my moments with tocsins and sermons
I am religiously present, this is talk of dubiousness in polygamy
Why free will when you are forever in this mirror, of dying loathing
Why free will when you are ne'er in this mirror, of sleeping solipsism
Caitiffs cutting through the silver morning, to be glad to drink good times with opulence and ease

You can.

Behind closed doors
Lurks a person
Who keeps score
Of when you last came
Aditya Roy May 2020
You are wildest forest
A leopard roams free in
A stream never dries
A fire is alive in your belly
Wild and free

You are the greenest leaf
On a breathless bush in the wind
I kiss you in this rustling wind
Since, because it is gentler
Than my empty words
Words that are empty are best left unsaid. Homer
Aditya Roy Jul 2019
Tiger burning bright
In the forests of the night
The years of immortality
Didn't help our mentality
But, we looked for hunger in the unforgiving
Like jungles, we were populated by the very things we could bite
As we unleash wilderness on each other
We follow the other end of the circle of life
To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour.

If your heart is strong
Your mind will be fearless
If your mind is stronger
Your heart will never bear the consequence
One's heart will always have insecurities
Because that's where God put the flaws and virtues together

I found an island
In your arms
Country in your
Eyes
Does the rain die
If the country lies
Few lines from a song.
Aditya Roy Apr 2020
Scribbling notes
I have no pen or paper
Where do I write?
Remember me, please
Again and again
I say this, right
Will you be mine?
Do I call your phone
If I forget your advice
Will you welcome me
And let me into a world?
Where we can dream
About how you are sorry
Will you?
Do that when you bring me flowers to my grave
Aditya Roy Aug 2019
Will you land on my
Side of the universe
Or still, count the stars afar from a different galaxy
Looking a little out of touch with the skin
Opening up an eye, and keeping two closed
We could give you a magazine, but, it'd be nebulous
Will you land on my
Side of the universe
Or still, count the stars afar from a different galaxy
Looking a little like our Solar System, efficient and precise
Even if it is Newtonian, Kepler and we pinned out relativity
Mass and energy found equivalence, and we peered out
Of closed windows, and landed on the correct side of the universe
I still hear my mom call out to me from the house, that was a stone throw away
Aditya Roy Feb 2020
To drink
Or not to drink
It is a question of taste
A pleasant cuppa
For a song of the sailor
Rhymes on the table
Reflections on forever
I know your love has no measure
Beyond the jealousy I watch from that eye
Is it he that walks by in starry skies
All of these are uncertain
Like my job at Wigan Pier
Will you send me something for earthly me
A student for policing
Or an apprentice for teaching
I have done my duty poorly
As a father figure
At least as malice doth give us
We could cherish the chalice
From the bottom of the drowning sorrows
I had given it my all
It was a well-fashioned foot soldier
In a daring hermit's costume
I died with clothings and old age, fulminating till my last breath
Aditya Roy Jul 2020
I remember how you still felt warm
As if you had just caught a cold
Summer had become a bit torn
Without you beside me to live and love

The blankets cover the wounds and lies
When I look at your morning eyes
It all flies and the pain wears a disguise
There is a cloud winding on the sunlit skies
A short poem, guys. There is a lot to say, but, little words express some emotion.
Aditya Roy Jul 2019
You're abstract
Like the wind
But, when you speak you poke
But, I can't touch you
Aditya Roy Jul 2019
The loathing is strong on this man
The breathing is hollow in this man
The death is coming closer, to his human frame
The breaths are getting shorter, and wheezier
Reminds me of homeless men, that share the same death
But different beds
Faces that some of us don't and some don't recognize
These are friends we never meet
Windmill falling on the ground, run for better
Begin in the round, tiles living it on your steam
Rocketmen and daydreams are just a beginning
Moving from street to street looking for new beginnings
Introducing yourself to different delights and politesse
The broken streets, flickering like candles
They turn darker than the stars, and shadows that hide
As the sun shines on them all, I see them rising behind
Virgins do make much of time and gathering ye rosebuds
While ye may, in the forests of the grey, that need to be graced
The death of man closes like the book of dead authors
Aditya Roy Jul 2019
Wishes based on race
By the segregation that divides
Is like a half-life, that cuts like a fish in the sea
Pieces of man, cut into flesh and bone
The sins for which the white man has to atone for
Is in the brown-eyed soul of a disillusioned handsome man
Biased on blues, radiating the whites of their eyes
The skin so pale
The flagging it with any banner
Would make a political motto
Seem like a motto for gender fluidity
If you believe in yourself
Be a part of what you are, instead of being sexually minute
Your own stronghold on words is bullish rhetoric
And when we almost died inside
We marked our territory by identification of face
Our existence simply a consequence of racial profiling
What matters is that we bleed our own music?
That's called freedom of thought in this century of post-modernism
Aditya Roy Aug 2019
Where are you from mind to mother
Are you from the tree of ether midnight lover
Mauve and green, and the timber of autumn chill
Chattering, wait a minute it's winter in green
Care to oblige, into my world, wondering who's it from
To the effect, it's a phenomenon in the embers of eclipsed
Make a couple throws, and roll with the scientist of the cusp of miss emerald
You look like a girl, maiden to the concurrent countess stealing a glance from her Siamese cat
Let it be, and little are we ready to not believe that, die on the silver scent
Where's the feeling at and the inevitable morning reeling out, the perfidy of digressing
The breaking bread and reading takes to the herd, kindly
The wine ages with time and death take the darkness away
Edging on the time is like living life on every way of integrity
Schizoid of the psychoanalysis of the treasonable civilian, here on myrhh
Running away from you never took more gusto, the fact ain't lying
A thousand men fighting and flowing
Specs of the dust like a hurricane, moving just because they can
Galvanizing with the woods, I'd sit with my underground chair with burning papers
Burning with the recession, the economy was on page
Were we in prized papers?
The value of money and the sleepers, in clean ruses and jackknifes killing the heathens
Truth with the people told us of better times
Hitherto, this is just our choice, within the entropy, outside we are in frames within
Aditya Roy Mar 2020
Your brother needs your arms
More than a hunger crowded street in winter
Untenable politics gets us tongue twisted
Witless and lamentable muse don't leave
'bandoning dreams of mine in America
Inamoring us all with her fair skin
A dollar for brown eyes sliced proper
A bruised boy for shining his shoes
Wishing he was in your shoes in this ragged route
Such purity in vice, rusts in dire strait
Despite, her lover she walks like us, you fool
Wither go you, fobbing and treading
Worthless heart is like yours and mine, but, time
Time takes all of us and buries leaves of grass
Aditya Roy Feb 2020
Far from home
My cousin from the thunderdome
We were marching towards to the front
Sitting in the back
Lyres flew across the sea shack
Where the old man died so poignant
Waiting for my return like he bided breeze

Someone's got it in for me
As each page folded underneath
Night came from another
The witches chanted when comes peace
Thunder met the easy wind coming from East
I bid thee farewell when come light of winter
You wouldn't know me even if you saw into the light
Aditya Roy Dec 2020
You are a coat of many colors
A picture of different frames
You capture life in its essence
But, when winter comes
You'll be my coat and cane
Your kisses will be the summer
That I still desire to this day
Sorry for the hiatus. But you know how inspiration is.

We were brought in an unforgiving world
Notoriety mattered, except the old

Aside, and the made
Listen to them
All the peace
Aside, and the land

My turn to shine
I dim the mind
Through progressive time
"Time lying in the sunshine. Saving for it to watch the rain"-Pink Floyd
Aditya Roy Aug 2019
Like a woman in the storm
Wilting in the mossy lakes
Streams of tears stop suddenly
Wishing tumultuous flowers
Following her mother to her grave
I hope the river flows in her
Indolent, sloth, languorous lapping
Rivers left this sea, shoring against the tides
Of shapeless water crashing against razor ravines
Her love stood the test of time by following the river
Drenched by the moisture of the sea
The crow wishes fallow, callow women can wash away
Tomorrow begins after today
Sorrow ends today for the wishful crow
Aditya Roy Aug 2020
Like a bird flies in the sky
It knows it is only good at flight
The sky carries it through clouds and rain
It knows it is only good at flight
Then, came thunder
And the bird fell into the sea
I may have written too many poems by now. But, those who stick with me till my narrative ends, know that our poems mean more than soul and blood. They are the flesh wrapped around our very existence.
Aditya Roy Nov 2024
Wanna see her
I hear a voice that better say
And it said
I'm not leaving again

Once I saw her
The piece of my heart left said
My peace is with her
I'm not leaving again

I've no reason
I wanna wish it all away
And she called on my line and I said
I know what I said, I'd do it all again

And on the wayside
I waited
I called out, I know
I told her I'll leave

In a box or a bag
Can you see then?
I'm not made for this
Ain't no way, I'll sleep again

And I know
And I know
I wanna stay
So bad it makes me cry
Aditya Roy Jun 2023
Take me with you
To a place where the stars
Come out at night
And listen to my heartbeat's dying fire

As I wish upon them
Aditya Roy Feb 2020
When you wake up next to me
Everyday of my life
It becomes clearer
It gets slower

Like we should be holding on
To each other
Reaching for higher places
We belong to the same race

Maybe we aren't meant to be
With or without
Each other
Changing each other constantly
While we look for ways to love each other
Aditya Roy Mar 2020
When I turn from my window
I am out of reach from your lonely street
I have no looks to give you
But, who cares when you wander frozen sleets
When you aren't there at the dead of night
I have people to talk to, constantly
But, who comes when it's time to call
When you are broken but always gone
I have spoken true lies and nothing more

But, who needs you
When you are their home
But, who needs you
When I'm not looking for you

I have made love in the night
But, who scares you
When you have no one to fear
You are a friend indeed
If I cry alone
Because you make me feel all vulnerable

I go back to my dead alley
Near a broken building
Overlooking a crescendoed bridge
A tower stands among us, unyielding
It could be you and me, babe
With our hands empty
Who will love you when I'm gone, babe
With our hands empty
Aditya Roy Sep 2020
The stars fill up in your embrace
Skies inflate in your splendor
You hide in plain sight
Yet, are so bright during twilight

A moon I look upon
There is no way or escape from this struggle
As I shrivel in this mortal coil
Knowing being without you is immoral

But, in my obsessed mind
I keep replaying words
That had lost meaning the moment they left my mouth
It is that obsession that drives me see you asleep

Peaceful, with someone else
However, how can skies as empty as us
Have more than one moon
I was yours and you were mine

When did that change?
I hope this theme resonates with some heartbroken people.
Aditya Roy Nov 2022
The sun waits over the hills
To liven the lilies and daffodils
As I am caught in its embrace
You have left this place

The grass plays
Sunshine is scarce
A breeze chills
It is beautiful and powerful

The trees are bare
But they let in the sun's hue
Its warmth shines through
But I miss the shade

Winter has come and gone
Summer isn't far behind
You have left a coldness in my life
To you, this is my song

My love stormed off
Soon like the winds breeze on surprised towns
Who didn't expect see the storm come on
Aditya Roy Oct 2020
In an elusive way, her disposition
The rays that falls from her skin
Drapes that black and blue can't hide
A bit of shine that comes on the east
Resembles the sun, that is tonight

Let's appreciate our girls
The right way, for one day
Instead, of taking the sunshine
For granted, leaving us only
Darkness, shy of the light
They will turn into women, if you let 'em
