Greenland's fjords
Native tongues
Thai curries
Tundra calls

answer

Let me answer
Earth, all of this

great

I'm grateful
To be here
Warm showers
Nashville towers
But all of this
All of this
Earth

calls
Underneath moon dust
Lies a glimmer of lost hope
Igniting space dreams

One day we will merge
We will be a nebula
And a red dwarf too

Heat death is so far
That for now, I am happy
To be a planet
My stomach never felt like this
A stone falling deep into the sea
Going into the unknown
Actually makes me so aware

3 AM felt so warming
Infiltrating my dreams
For me to wake up with a smile
Was no longer rare

I could get out of bed
Take my first breath
All without feeling sick
And that was scary

Stepping outside was now refreshing
Instead of being bashed by the tide
I flowed with it
I found a painkiller for numbness.
They say, as you approach the speed of light
the energy required to keep moving forward
begins to reach infinity.

If you give it some thought it makes perfect sense.
The past is heavy.
You can feel the weight of every moment
even if you are only travelling at the speed of life.
Precipitation
I felt the raindrops
Hit my lungs
Like a cigar
I wasn't supposed to wholly inhale
But I breathed deeply
As if the earth were a hookah
With endless coals
Lit
As the street lights
Illuminated each drop
I only missed
One or two
A paisley star-birth and I was holding hands with a flower,
she's freckled and she stains

A party in the woods but we stood by the river
"I don't know what you're feeling" and you still don't to this day

I muttered "****" under my breath a thousand times,
sipping lemon water, it started to rain

I couldn't see anything- but a black hole took me home, all alone,
and that street's light never faded but it's me who didn't stay
I'm here.
I'm queer.
Now, use me.
Just a funny joke (I had to repost because someone initiated a personal conversation. Please send private messages from my profile page and not attached to poetry)
