Outside of the library,
On a wet, wet day,
You smiled and said
'I love you'
Before walking away
Towards the platform, where you depart,
And I know that I will always feel this way
About you.

You run your fingers through my hair and with them bring
The cool, fresh air that
I have longed for, all throughout the
Winter.

The green flecks and
The blue hues of your eyes
Connect you to this current season:
Springtime.
Through your warmth and light,
You have given me
New life.

I have been told that said eyes are the window to the soul, so
When we kiss we must never keep our eyes closed;
An exchange of hearts for an exchange of souls that will continue, and
Never grow old.

Staring out the window
I think to myself
is this how life looks
from the top shelf?
Never had I thought
I'd be sitting here with him
one hand holding his
and the other wiping our baby's snot.
"I want to be big" I'd said
Life was all rainbows in my head
With rainbows came rain
And with rain, more pain.
But as our fingertips touched,
through the cricks of my brain
the memories gushed
"We'll get through it all" he said
"As long as you never let go"
But let go I did, of all my big dreams
and so life turned out - as perfect as it seems.

Meera
My pen bleeds
As its ink seeps
My words cry
The seer weeps
I keep scrawling
Until my pain recedes
Walking on my way
Where my lament leads
Crumbling to bones
Changing to fit the needs
My frailty drives me
As nothingness breeds
In madness I did
Those fearful deeds
Now I'll have to pay
The price of my greed
Making me suffer
My demons succeed
In the garden of love
I feel like a ****
I am looking for my way
To the flowery meads
Where the chains will be shattered
And then I will be freed
Sometimes you just feel lost and there seems no way out
