this poem
has a title
so that all who read it
know
that this poem has a meaning

because without something to reference
a name
or a title
things are left behind

just like me
in all the years
i tried to remain
untitled

rather

anonymous

untitled people
like me
are given no
second glances
no
first chances
no
social advances

nothing

left behind
like a poem
without
a name

Dimitrios Sarris
Tales that will forever be lost
stories that will never be told
sacrifices that will never be known.
My love seems a bit from these all
my heart in the beat of a squall
my life breaches the gates of a wall.
Thoughts will never be silenced
facts will never be undone
amnesia is not the plan.
I won't beg for the price i've paid
i won't regret for the ruin we've caused
moving forward looks like a brawl
that was the plan all along.

PaperclipPoems
His oil creased fingers
Wiped the blood from my lip
That he knew was from him...
In his oil based hands my neck laid
Slipping into his arms
Falling into his world...
He kissed my stained lips
And I saw the blood drops levitate
Melting into the ceiling
While the oil from his hands painted my body

Traveler
It's lost on me
As you can read
I have no need
For misery
All that's blue
Is but a sea
Beneath the waves
Where we can't breathe
So fill my sails
With thankfulness
Come navigate
These sea's of bliss
And bring about
A better days
Where you and I
Can ride the waves
Of happiness
And piece of mind
To weather all
The storms of time...

Jobie
said we'd see the world
but soon realized
we'd already seen too much

underwater french kissing
to cope with the pain
of living and dying

our boat's the last thing
to see us off
dunno where it'll crash

face down
our bodies float at sea
lifeless and loveless
