The blue depths
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
What's so scary about the sea?
The thought of no way to flee.

Endless blue on all sides,
What's all in there that hides?

We don’t know,
Something could be there to grow.

It’s a place that's so unknown,
Don’t you just feel so alone?

On the ship, with the fear to sink,
As water floods it to the brink.

Now all alone in this blue cold,
Thinking about the tales you’re told.

Of leviathans and giant squids,
That can easily tear you to bits.

Some even say we know more about space,
What do you think—Is it a scary place?

You blinked
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
Birds fall silent, the ticking starts,
As shadows move to match your heart.

You know I'm close,
I'll hunt you down,
Wonder how your blood flows,
Follow through the entire town.

You stare at me and walk away,
I enjoy our twisted play.

I inch closer every time you fail,
As I follow your exact trail.

Why won't you just close your eyes?
You will be a feast for flies.

Sooner or later, you need to sleep,
Then I enter, without a peep.

Your meat makes my mouth water,
Just when I imagine the slaughter.

No one else can see,
Close your eyes on three.

One...
Oh, it will be so much fun.

Two...
I'll chase another as I chew,

Three...
Hear you whisper, "Leave me be!"

Out of your sight for just a bit,
Finally, I've made you quit.

You thought you'd be fine if you winked,
But that's not how it works; still, you blinked.

Out of sight
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
Looking at your phone, aren't you?
Well, we're watching too.

Behind you we stand and stalk,
Even if you go for a walk.

Near you at all times,
Waiting until your clock chimes.

We wait for you to rot,
Always in your blind spot.

If you turn around to look,
We savor the time we took.

Each time you think, there's somethings there,
Thats exactly were we where.

And if we can't wait anymore,
We'll slam your face against the floor.

Teeth falling, like rainfall's sound
See how much time we've found.

But for now, we bide and lie,
Watching from the corner of your eye.

Me and I
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
I sat at night before my screen, just to browse,
There I saw him in my house.

I screamed as I looked towards the door,
Saw something crooked, a horror.

I turned on the lights and grabbed a knife,
As I pleaded for my life.

The figure was nowhere to find,
I wondered if it was my mind.

The next morning I went to work,
Wondering where it would lurk,

But then I reached a dead end,
Inside, myself but twisted and bent.

In shock I turned  and ran,
Behind me a distorted man,

He looked just like me,
As I stumbled into a tree.

With pain I see my world fade to black,
Then I awoke in a small shack.

Chained and aching, rain began to pour,
But I was inside, trapped once more.

The rain was warm and deep red,
As I felt my own blood spread.

My bones exposed, I see a smile,
The other me, pulling out a nailfile.

I heard it scratch and creak,
As more blood began to leak.

It took my skin to make its own,
While shattering bone after bone.

The last thing I saw was my face,
As I faded in that wretched place.

The mouse in my house
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
I went to the forest near my house,
There I saw a very small mouse.

She followed as I walked back home,
Then she began to roam.

I felt her presence at all times,
Watched as on the bed she climbs.

It was already late,
As I felt my powers fade.

I lay down next to her,
As everything began to blur.

I woke up and knew she was near,
Then I felt blood dripping from my ear.

"Ouch," I said, because it felt like a bite.
What happened in the night?

I searched and searched but couldn’t find,
"Where did she go?" I thought in my mind.

Crossed my arms and felt a spin,
I saw her right under my skin.

Bad dreams
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
I go to sleep and start to dream,
It's about things that make me scream.

I see much blood and gore,
It really hits me in the core.

I just want to be awake,
Before i see my bones break.

But this time it's not the same,
I don't get burned by the flame.

I see a figure stalking me,
As I just lie still and want to flee.

But I can't move,
Is this real?
I need proof,
Am I his meal?!

Now it crawls onto the ceiling,
Why the hell is it not leaving!

It's watching and it licks his lips,
I watch too as it's spit drips,

The Monster reveals his teeth and smiles,
Just as i see the flesh piles,

Am i gonna die?
Suddenly it cuts my thigh.

I try to scream but my mouth is shut,
Right as it opens up my gut.

A burning pain starts to spread,
As red starts to paint the bed.

A tear runs down my cheek,
As more blood begins to leak.

Everything goes black,
As i awake, I'm on my back,

This time it went so far,
As i look on my body, I see a scar.

Alone at Night
VeinsOfInk Nov 2
Im Home alone at this night,
Thats what one thinks but i bring fright,

The People always try to cope,
But Im here to end their hope

I am what's in the dark,
I see your little tasty spark.

You turn off the lights and I follow,
I will make your body hollow,

The only light, is in your room,
Just wait till I come consume,

My long black claws, on your face,
Its not going to be a long chase,

With my many eyes i see,
Exactly where you gonna be.

Its so much fun, you need to go quicker,
I just wait, until the lights flicker.

The Quiet
VeinsOfInk Nov 1
I woke up and to my suprise,
Nothings there, not even cries,

I went outside, just to check,
No sound at all, what the heck

My Mother allways said a thing,
Said this would happen in spring,

I never gave her word a thought,
No matter how much she taught,

But now I wish I'd gave her mind,
Because the Monster was unkind,

I saw it rip appart a man,
As I watched, it quickly ran,

But i knew it would come back,
Just for me to be a snack.

Little Mushroom
VeinsOfInk Nov 1
It started off as a little shroom,
No one knew about the impending doom.

As it began to grow,
Needles it began to sow.

A man stepped by,
The mushroom, he wanted to try.

Vines grabbed the man; they had a tight grip,
Then they took a big, big sip.

Crushed and folded, he's thrown aside,
Now he's completely dried.

The shroom began to hunt,
Grabbed more humans as they grunt.

It made them cry and scream,
As it drank the bloodstream.

The humans tried to burn it down,
But it swallowed the whole town.

The dark delight
VeinsOfInk Nov 1
Everything is black,
I hear a crack,

Is someone there?
A scent lingers in the air,

It smells so sweet,
Is it a treat?

I try to find the source of the smell,
It's cloaked in shadows, behind a shell

I crack it open and got a stain,
To my luck, I hit a vein

It's not like any other time,
This one has the sweet taste of lime,

The human species is such a delight,
I enjoy every tastefull bite.

As more of us gather we began to feast,
I am a zombie beast.

Split appart
VeinsOfInk Nov 1
I feel the need to ****,
It's all about the thrill,

What, such things I would never do,
Who the hell are you!

Oh, I'm you and you are me,
Now I'm going on a killing spree,

We're both here and share control,
But you know... things take a toll

You're about to ruin my whole life,
Stop! Put away the knife!

No no no, my friend,
Let's see how much their bones can bend,

But if you would...,
That's not good,

I need to put an end to this!
But what are you gonna do, Miss?

I don't know...,
In the meantime I'll cut off this toe,

Just watch and plea,
I'll set you free,

No you will not,
If you could you'd let me rot,

Wait I'm no longer in chains,
From whom are these open veins?!

How many did you ******!
Oh I would go much further...

The Flowers
VeinsOfInk Nov 1
The Flowers looked so nice and clean,
Back then when I was a teen,

I was so naive,
Should've turned and leave,

Im not the first,
The flowers they began to burst,

A wide spore fog spread,
Somethings creeping in my head

A feeling nimbling at my brain,
Something i just can't explain,

The Spores they spread even more,
Suddenly I see the gore,

I saw the bones and Human remains,
Scattered all over these plains,

The Flowers, they feast on them,
They lay there hidden, like a gem,

I ran away, to my luck
Back there when the panic struck.

Dance of death
VeinsOfInk Oct 31
It all started with a musician,
He said he had a big ambition.

So we just let him play,
As he did, night and day.

The people began to join,
But no one gave him a coin.

He was mad and looked away,
But still, he wanted to play.

He tried out a new song;
Suddenly, people danced along.

They danced and danced,
He played and played,
Fully entranced,
With him they stayed.

Soon the entire town was there;
You could hear some muscles tear.

It went on for so long,
He stood there laughing really strong.

The people started to collapse,
They should have spared a coin, perhaps.

Embrace the madness
VeinsOfInk Oct 31
A place were no sun shines,
It sends shivers done our spines,

But the "humans" here,
They dont live in fear.

Faces, a happy smile
While doing things so scary and vile.

I think i hear a whisper too,
Thats when the smile grew,

The dread it came to win,
It began to consume my sin,

I fall to my knee,
I am finally free,

The mind goes blank and back to full,
Suddenly i feel a pull,

The others they want me to see,
I quickly turned to agree,

They showed me the new world,
Everything was kinda curled,

Spirals began to form,
A feeling really warm,

I looked down and saw,
Blood dripping from my jaw,

Thats when i decided to write,
My fingers going all white,

It felt like chalk,
But the lines where red,
I could not talk,
Wanted to shed,

I scratch my skin to get out,
The blood it was about to sprout,

Everything went black after that
And now its death that spread
