When the sun takes his first breath each morning
And he is greeted with your gentle smile
It gives him joy to illuminate the day

When you rise above the horizon each morning
And are greeted by the sun's radiance
He gives you strength to live another day

When the moon conquors the world each night
And gives you comfort to sleep in peace
He prays for your reign when the morning comes

Mask on my face protects me.
Hides me.
Binds me.

Help me to pretend.
Puting on a smile
Dont put me on trial.
You wont win this game.

My mask is a cover,
A slip,
A shield.

Its protects me,
It helps me.

Let me go about my day.
Let me on my way.
This isnt your issue.
Dont get a tissue.
I was born this way.

Hide away.
Feeling,
Truth,
Lies,
Numb,

Push it away till it is no more.
This mask is my safety net
A friend of mine told me
I write when I’m sad
She said it is as if I am in pain
And I said when I write it rains
When I put the pen on paper the clouds get dark
And when I stop
The birds of the sky sings
Coming out to play as the sun is out

I’ve always thought I had,
Multiple personalities,
Different identities,
With different densities.

A lover today
A warrior tomorrow
And maybe, a princess the next.

My dreams are big
A little insane
Most times extreme
But mine all the same

Never ask "Are you a happy mirror?",
I did this mistake once,
Now I brush my teeth in front of smartphones.

Firmly believing
That the past doesn't dictate your future
How do I advertise myself to you in that sense
Whatever story I have to tell
Is buried in the footprints
I left on the way here
