Truth gets caught in your throat.
Be careful not to choke.
Thunder.
Out of breath.
Heartbeats echo through my body.
Shiver.
Her eyes tangle above me.
She bites her lips.
****, they look so sweet
I need to know what I want.
Move.
Stop staring idly.
Waiting for the moment to be in sight.
The world ain't that bright.
Dazed.
Thoughts scrabbled in my head.
What if?
I touched her by the cheek.
Stroked her by the hair.
And layed a kiss upon her feet.
I guess I'll never know....
Indecisive as ****

When I was small,
I picked out an Aquaman action figure
Out of a bin at the secondhand store
He was missing a leg
Most of the paint worn off at his joints
But he was brand new to me
And what my mother could afford
I made up a story
About how his enemies had hurt him
How he'd defeated them
Became stronger
Was world reknowned for his powers
I loved him and this love fixed his brokenness
One perspective change made all the difference
I am like this.
Not broken, just reimagined.

they told me not to get involved
that all my problems would be solved
if i stayed clear of your path
and got out of this mess fast
you don’t know how to keep your mouth shut
but you know how to make your words cut
deep into my mind
reminds me of all the time spent
thinking about you
and how i felt when all this was new
when you would tell me lies
and then i would confide
in you
thinking that you cared
when really this wasn’t fair
because this is how you were
towards every single other girl

Did you see a special child,
Moving on its own
Waiting for a smile from
strangers faces around!

Did you see a special child
Sitting in the park
Waiting for the ball to come so
He can give a pass!

Did you see a special child
Sitting near the lake
Waiting for the fish to be caught
In the fishing rod straight!

Did you see a special child
Moving it's wheel chair fast
To catch that metro rail
Which is about to depart!

Did you see a special child
In your child's class
Sitting in a corner waiting for acceptance and cheers!

Did you see a special child
In your neighbor's house
Waiting to be befriended
By the whole society!

Did you see that special child
Whose innocence is unbound
Smiles are genuine
And eyes are pure shine!

Unfortunately,
It's 'not' you alone who
did not see him..
We tend to not register
there presence,
We deny to register
there existence
I haven't seen a special child
till my 28th birthday.

Till I became a mother of one...
That day a mother was born
A special mom of a special child...!!!

Then I became friends with
Many such special mom's...
Beautiful kids became
my son's friends too...

And the special journey
of Special Life thus began!!!

I have fought my demons
And hell to win my freedom
To discover me and to fall in
Love with who I found
My love for myself has not
come out of vanity
or a sense of entitlement
It came
because when I hit rock bottom
I was in so much pain
I could barely breathe
he would not allow me
to give up
I found him
I fell in love with him
And
I’ll never  covering him up
or reducing him
to make others happy
I promise him
to always be his safe place
Without being his cage
For I am forevermore
In love with the man
I’m becoming!

Roaring with colours
Wonderful and bright
Filled with the people
Who bring me such light

Dyed with their colours
All the reds and the blues
Staining my heart
Creating a wonderful work of art

A little bit of each person
Some a little more
Mixing new tones everyday
As each day its like an all out war

The colors they contrast
Making me who I am
Though some overpower me
Destroying parts of who I am

Though in the end I'm still me
Influence and painted by the people
Even if some parts are grey, dark and black
The rest is beautiful filled with the light of my history

From the colors of the rainbow and everything unseen
A walking masterpiece of colors
Drenched with dripping paint
Leaving my own mark on many others

Adding my own touch to who they are
