While running amuck
through life's despair's
I read the book of love
and you best beware's

Magic glories
  impossible feats
the breath of new life
enlightened me!

Sort of a firm footing
but more a stumble
my religious heart
caught the ball an fumbled

Sooner then later
We fall down again
Oh you can deny and you can pretend
But the book was corrupted
In the bitter end!

Now may you find God within!

An overflow of salty tears remains,
in hearts that covet love unrestrained;
The faded colors blanched and undefined,
with no more reasons left or undermined.

In quiet rooms that tell the tales beyond,
a world renowned for catastrophic bond;
Rises up and quells the cursed interference,
dismissing painful shadows in adherence.

The awesome glow of firelight brings pause,
to secrets gleaned from past events and cause;
No other sights diminished in the sphere,
dividing worlds of comfort far and near.

In due time these secrets have their way,
of revealing angry voices gone astray;
Yet wonders of the starlit sky commence,
in carrying missives in profound repentance.

winds of change blew in
they altered everything
the static winds we knew before
no longer blew anymore

the winds were felt
far and wide
within the world's
reside
they'd taken over
its bide
where we'd stay caught
by their ride

these winds being turbulent
of prevail
these winds came on an
eastern gale

Prolonging the sadness, stringing
out those fears
Causing shadows to be cast ,
through the bitterness and tears
The pale acquisition, mistakes and
the lies
The cold as the sun goes down
before the light dies

My first write in sometime. Thank you for taking the time to read.

because I can't break out
of your gravitational pull
