My First Memory
I don’t remember it completely
Because I was about to be three
But I do remember those burning towers
That kept showing on the TV
Although I didn’t know what it meant
Even I could see
That something scary had happened
And it became my first memory
I know it’s not even close to 9/11’s 19th anniversary, but I still thought I’d write it.

Oizys’ Thrall
This world is cruel
It’s so unfair
And has left me with
A stone cold stare
That hides my emotions
Behind a wall
It’s as if I’ve become
Oizys’ thrall
Oizys is the Greek goddess of misery, anxiety, grief, and depression.
Also, constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Ideations, Not Tendencies
I sit here on the verge of tears
In a world which fails
To make itself clear
I want to stay
Though feel I should go
But I’m not gonna do it
Just thought you should know
Ideations and tendencies
Are not the same
So I swear I’ll live
To see another day
Constructive criticism is highly appreciated.

To The One I Left
I once had loved you
I thought you were the one
In the beginning we had so much fun
We went on dates
But I always paid
If I made the slightest mistake
You would become the embodiment of rage
You would tear me down
And make me cry
Because of you
I lost all of my pride
And for two whole years
I was dying inside
Until the day
I tried to end my life
But I survived
And came to see
That you weren’t worth it
So I decided to leave
Constructive criticism is highly appreciated.
