I never understood
Why I can't be happy,

It always feels like happy is
Only ever a temporary thing.

Sometimes life drags you down
Life's really not bad yet it hurts,

It's so hard to sleep,
Even worse getting up.

Do I hate myself so much
I refuse to enjoy my life?

Seems like all weeks are tough lately, work is tough but I don't think it's just that.

Broken Promises

You promised you'd be a better version of you.
But nothing has changed, you're still a sinner.
Days had passed, and you're still broken.
Still, you barely move in your uncover bed.
Alive, but doesn't want to move a single muscle.
What have you done?
What have you worked?
What have you done with your life?
You promised, didn't you?
Or it was all a script just like in the movie?
Where you said you'll change.
But you didn't, and nothing has changed.

I'm trying to meet my goals day by day, one day at a time.

JUMP OFF A CLIFF WITHOUT CONSIDERING CONSEQUENCES,
LOVE SPECIFICALLY.
PAY ATTENTION ON THE SMALLER DETAILS OF THE BIGGER PICTURE,
LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY.
BECAUSE THERE WILL BE DAYS WHEN YOU DON’T LIKE HER, BUT THE LOVE MUST REMAIN AND IN THE EVENT THAT LOVE BREAKS YOU, LET IT BREAK.
DO NOT CLOSE YOURSELF OFF OR SHUT YOURSELF DOWN.
YOUR HEART WILL BE SHAPED AND RESHAPED, BUT IN THE END IT WILL STILL BE YOURS.
