A Lazy Mess

Let's never pick up
Anything that falls to the floor.

Cuchillo a Cara
K Lynnah Oct 2016
Blade in hand the heavensent
Inches closer to her face

"I've been counting down the days"
Says he.

Further down the hole he went
Losing races in a maze

Wide awake inside his craze,
Crazy.

He moves in silence
Lurking between venues
Welcome and adieu

He comes and goes
In skies and ink injections
In rejections of her heart

In breaking silence,
In his art
Of knives to Faces.

Tired
K Lynnah Oct 2016
My last breath
Will not belong to my soul.

I will expel air from my lungs the last time
And it will become the wind.

Sound in Symmetry: Sweat
K Lynnah Oct 2016
A thunderstorm is upon us;
It drenches all the sinners here.
You are unholy, albeit harmless.
What broken trinity are we?

A god by your name
Is not a deity in this house.
We know only one God
And you don't have His name.

In one of our divinities, we embrace.
Yours alone are softer than all others.
Our breaths shudder in the night,
My chin on your shoulder.

I, weaker than any woman,
Yes, even than the Creation Mother,
Want to be the soil in which
You ground your roots.

Oh, when you do, like asteroids
I fall from the heavens. During my descent A drop of liquid traces my spine
Leaving wetness frozen in air.

In The Valley
K Lynnah Oct 2016
Your arm fits
In the valley between
My waist and hips
Like the dresses
You beg me to wear,

And closes the gap
Between here and
Where we will be
Like your beloved
Golden gate bridge.

Prophecy
K Lynnah Oct 2016
I wonder a wonder
A squandered dream.
How sudden a movement,
How darkened a beam.

The future I dread
In the hole in my heart,
I've had to embed
In my head,

A future I say
Is the death of me.
Too bad I have wished
I were dead.

That's what the last sane person said to me.
Leaving me to wonder what else he could mean
By saying "You just shouldn't dream".
