Still Yours
Jamie Sep 2019
Crackle of light,
Shacking with fright.
Beaming white,
Eliminating the night.
Nothing remains,
My life drains.
Everything fades,
I search for aides.
It's all gone away,
The words I want to say.
The only thing left,
The one thing no one can theft.
My still beating heart,
My last part.
It still belongs to you,
Something I can't undo.
My heart, I can't get it back, I don't want it back..

I See You
Jamie Sep 2019
Everywhere I go,
Everything I do,
My heart always sees you.
When I try something new,
Or even when I feel blue.
There you are,
Like a vision from a far.
My heart skips a beat,
I tremble from my hands to my feet.
Then realize your not there,
Realize I dont see you anywhere.
My mind plays tricks on me,
You're all I want to see.
You're the mirage I can't grasp,
Empty my hands clasp....
That feeling where you see them everywhere yet you know there nowhere.

My Swolemate
Jamie Sep 2019
The dropping weights,
The cling of plates.
A beed of sweat,
Can't quit yet.

Together we grow,
Trying to get swole.
Pushing our weights,
On our gym dates.

We train back,
Pulling from the rack.
We hit chest,
You always did your best.

We work shoulders,
Trying to make boulders.
Can't forget legs,
Even if she begs.

We skipped arms,
Due to your charms.
Didn't bother with abs,
You can handle jabs.

We Pushed each other,
Spent that time together.
The gym was our space,
Our happy place.
I miss our simple work outs together.

Carring and sweet
Homely and outgoing
Radiant smile
Intriguing and perceptive
Strong and loving
Trustworthy to a fault
Incredible and unbelievable
Natural beauty, inside and out
A magnificent soul, and heart to match.

Mesmerizing eyes
Youthful, playfull stares

Loveable
One of a kind
Vibrant personality
Everything I could ever want and more.
Words I'm dying to say, to the women I'd do anything to see.

Last Chance
Jamie Sep 2019
One last chance with you,
I wonder what I would do.
Will I be the man you remember,
Have I changed for the better.
Am I truly a changed man,
Was this part of a greater plan.

Will I finally be enough;
I know things will be tough.
Do I now have what it takes,
To prevent your heartaches.
Can I show you true love,
Be someone you're proud of.

All these questions,
All my affections.
One thing I know is true,
I would do anything for you.
I'd fight to make it just,
And earn back your trust.
Wondering if I could make things better  make them right, if I had one last chance to fight.

Her Eyes
Jamie Sep 2019
Those eyes,
Still leave me mesmerized.
The way they look into me,
Connecting our hearts beautifully.
The way they warm my heart,
And tear my bad days apart.
The way they pull me in,
And light a fire within.
The way she winks,
And the way she blinks.
That beautiful brown,
Within which I can drown.
The eyes where I see true love,
My heart burns like the sun above...
It always took me by surprise, when my heart would get lost in her eyes.

All these memories,
Of you and me.
All the good,
All the bad.
Some make me happy,
Some make me sad.
Stuff we did,
Things we said.
Promises made,
Plans delayed.
Not one memory I want to forget,
My heart hasn't fully broken yet.
There's still a part that holds on tight,
And tells me things will be alright.
All these memories, what do I do.

Walking In
Jamie Sep 2019
Stuck in a daze,
By what caught my gaze.
Like coming out of a haze,
Or some sort of phase.

Can't believe what I see,
The way it feels to me.
Wondering how this can be,
This feeling of glee.

How could I have gone,
So long,
It feels wrong,
But I feel like I belong.

Here in this moment,
Something feels potent.
I can't explain,
So many feelings remain.

Seeing you once more,
Walking through the door.
My heart aches,
Twisted by the hand of fates.

This moment I've dreamed of,
Like a sign from above.
I tremble and shake,
For the first time I'm awake...
That moment they walk in, and take you completely by surprise.

Morning Beauty
Jamie Sep 2019
When I'd wake, I'd see your face.
Covered in the suns embrace.
No care in the world in this place.
Getting up was no race.
Your soft skin next mine,
Your smooth black hair so fine,
Your cute stretch as you roll over,
Making me want to pull you in closer.
Giving me every reason to stay in bed,
Your presence swimming in my head.

As you crack a little smile,
My heart races a mile.
That perfect smirk,
As you try to get your eyes to work.
And it's those eyes,
That leave me mesmerized.
As you looked at me,
And seem so happy.
I'd feel my heart soar,
As it fills with the smile of the women I adore.
And when I'd hear your voice,
I'd have no choice.
To lean in for that morning kiss,
And start my day in pure bliss.
Remembering how amazing my mornings used to be when I was lucky enough to wake up next to her.

Christmas Wish
Jamie Dec 2019
Another year has come and passed,
And its Christmas time at last.
Lots has changed,
Things have been rearranged.
Some have come,
Some have gone.
Some things have become,
What others have un-done.

Sitting here,
This time of year.
I hope your mind is clear,
And you know you are thought of my dear.

I wish you joy,
Maybe a new toy,
I wish you love,
Hope it fots like a glove.
I wish you peace,
Even a sweater of fleece.
Most of all i wish for this,
You to have a day of bliss.
I hope you all have a very merry Christmas, or what ever else you celebrate.

That moment of fire and bliss
The sparks that flew,
How my heart grew.
The passion they sparked,
As if I've been marked.
The way I craved more,
Your lips became something I adore.
There the last thing I want to feel,
Nothings ever felt so real.
And the thing I want most to do,
Is to make my last kiss be you.
A first kiss can sometimes tell you everything you need to know about your connection with someone.

I Miss You

I miss you,
It's true.
The little things you do,
Now leave me blue.

There's a long list,
Of things I've missed.
It gets bigger by the day,
Due to my disarray.

The things I miss,
Those moments of bliss.
I miss your smile,
Our laundry pile.
Your beautiful eyes,
Our little white lies.
Your soft skin,
Emptying the garbage bin.
Waking next to you,
Arguing to.
Hearing your wishes,
Cleaning the dishes.
Going on dates,
Endless debates.
Holding you at night,
Having a fight.
Holding your hand,
Not knowing where we stand.
Our tender moments,
Your Silent treatments.
Every single kiss,
Moments we miss.

Just being with you,
Good and bad too.
The things we would do,
Things I still want to.
I know I've done you wrong,
Made you feel we dont belong.
For you I'll always long,
Each and every dawn.
No matter what we do,
I'll always miss you.
I will always miss you, our good our bad.

Hoping to see you one more time,

Wanting to make you smile,

How bad I want to.

The one who took my bliss.

What way do I express,

If I turned it into a song,
Would you sing along.
If I wrote it in the sky,
Would it be something you deny.
If it was written in the stars,
Or on the side of cars.
Would you trust the night sky,

Should I hold them in tight,
Fight with them each night.
Should I tell you to your face,

Our First Kiss
Jamie Sep 2019
On those dimly lit streets,
We walked together for the first time.
Talked about our lives,
Our hopes, our dreams.
Nervously I reached out,
Shacking I grasped,
And found your hand.
You smiled and blushed,
What a rush.

You drew yourself in closer,
And settled yourself around my arm.
We continued to walk,
Time slipping away.
But nothing mattered there with you,
So many feelings rushing around.
We stopped at a corner,
Unable to decide what way to go.
We caught each others eyes,
Looked deeply at one another.
I drew in closer,
You leaned in to,
The sparks,
The tension,
The wonder,
The desire,
Your lips, my lips.

I moved in to see,
And love is what greeted me.
The softness of your lips,
The tenderness of your kiss,
The sweetness of the taste,
The feel of our embrace.
No moment has ever felt so real,
The truest thing I could feel..
The night we kissed, the sparks so real. I think back to this night, and no matter how things ended, it's a memory I'll always cherish.

Casting away all fright,
Forcing my soul to ignite.

I am haunted by your form,
Its presence next to me,
You being only a memory.

My mind cant perceive,
The emptiness of my bed.
Something inside me yearns,
To have things the way they were.

The way your hand fit in mine,
The way we kissed goodnight.
The way your skin would feel,
The warmth was ideal.

The way we fit together,
But wanted to be closer.
The way I'd pull you in,
And you would kiss me as you grin.

The way I felt,
Naked,
There with you,
Your body, my body,
Entwined and clued,
Happy,
In love,
And for once whole.

That warmth,
That skin,
The smell,
Those lips,
The eyes,
The hips,
The hair,
A kiss.

This is what I believe,
Bliss would be.
Just there,
You and me.

This is what forever is to me,
This is all I need us to be.
This is where my heart belongs,
Forever the feeling that it longs.

Nothing else matters, or ever will,
Not till the day, you once again I feel...
The memories of her next to me each night, haunted by the desire to have something as simple as her cuddling me once again.

Wasn't at First Sight.
Jamie Sep 2019
It wasn't at first sight,
But something did feel right.
I didn't yet understand my hearts plight.
As we trained and learned to fight.

It was when you laughed that you stole my gaze,
I became lost in your ways,
The way you were when your music played.
I was captivated as you trained,
So graceful,
Yet so playful.

The way she tied her long black hair into a bun,
The way she could joke around and have fun.
The way her worries washed away,
Each day,
As she came in and the door would sway,
She seemed as if she came to play.

Each day my heart grew fonder,
I was left there to ponder,
Will these feelings got stronger,
And my desires larger.

I wanted to see you everyday,
And so I tried to find the words to say.
And to you I would make my way,
At a Christmas party as you sway.
To the music, I moved to see,
If I could make it you and me.
You danced in the light of a Christmas tree,
I was overtaken by glee.
I asked you on date,
It all just felt like fate.
You said yes,
From here I felt we could progress.

Our first date was the gym,
Using your injured limb,
Teaching you to lift weights,
How to move all these plates.
I massaged your shoulder,
And thought, I have to hold her.
I asked you out once more,
As we walked towards the door.

More is what I needed,
Hoping my chances haven't fleeted.
You said yes one more time
And so began our storyline....
She just drew me in more and more each day, just being herself. I felt something so real I couldn't just sit back and do nothing.

Where do I go from Here

When shes In her white dress,
walking down the isle,
Who will say I do,
Who will she look onto.

Where will I be,
When she dreams of love,
When she plans her future,
When she thinks happily ever after.

What could I do
To make her see me,
To have have her trust me,
To show her the new me.

What can I say
To let her know I miss her,
Let her know I love her,
Let her know I can make things better.

What should I be
So she can be happy,
So she can get married,
So she can have her happily ever after.

Where do I go
If I cant have her,
If I cant forget her,
If I cant live without her.

So what do I say,
What do I do,
Where do I go,
What do I become.

If I'm not your future,
If im not your happily ever after,
If I'm not the man you thought I could be.
Then I just want you to be happy.

I want you to have a family,
I want you to get married,
I want you to have it all,

Or did something within us simply click.
Did we want our lives so connected,

Will we always come back to each other,
The way I hope we will.
Do you feel it too,
This invisible bond.
Can you feel my life and my heart,
The way I still feel yours.
Or have you finally cut the strings,
And left me a drift.

Our Road

As we walked forward,

And you reached out to help me.
You waited as I dusted off my knees,
As I tried to walk forward with you again.

But I could not catch my footing,
And the pain of watching me fail pushed us apart.
I fell through every hole,
I tripped over every branch,
And I stood to long at crossroads.

I slowed us down,
As you continued,
As you moved forward,
But still reaching back to help,

Had I only seen the distance between us.
Had I only seen how gracefully you walked.
Had I noticed the lack of hesitation in your steps.

I would not have misstepped,
I would not have tripped,
I would have not been to late,
To late to reach for your hand.

I missed my chance to walk beside you,
I was walking to slow,
I was tripping too much,
And I was looking around instead of ahead.

Now I walk this path alone,
And even tho I've tripped,
And even tho I've stumbled,
I've picked up my pace,
And began to walk with assurance in my steps.

I look forward,
Not caring what lies behind me,
I've cut off the weights that slowed me down.

I walk this road,
Ready to face all its obstacles,
Running to where we should be,
Where I've wanted us to be,
Running to meet you there,
Hoping I dont arrive too late.

I chase this,
Like a man chases a ghost,
I look for your steps,
And try to smell you on the air.

My heart yurns to see you again.
My lungs burn,
My feet ache,
But my pace stays the same.

I challenge this road,
And all its obstacles,
Hoping you arent walking on a different path.

I just hope one day we will find our way,
Our way back to each other...
It's how we get back up that matters
