Two lovebirds

Little birds in a cage
Little birds in a rage
Blue, green, red and pink
Plumage in a bundle sits and thinks

When night comes perched
puffed-up feathers falls asleep
An hour before dawn all dreams searched
Chattering, quarreling, screaming-singing leaps
From cage, to wall, to ear
Penetrating to outside song
In reply to cries, far and near
Similar performances all day long

Little friends from birth
Flightless friends of earth
Enclosed ' together with only
Music, to be free.
True Love Forever.

I am a child of the spirit eternal
My mother is the earth
My father is the sky

The wind is my brother
The rain is my sister
The animals, the trees, the birds ' my cousins

The mountains, the streams, the cascades
The rivers and lakes
The oceans ' my uncles and aunts
I am immortal

Immortal am I.
The Great Spirit.

Gardening

I planted a letter
The letter was y
It grew into a word
A word called why
The word grew to a sentence
Why? Why? Why?
The sentence over time grew into a mighty tree
And all the branches were questions why
And when the time was ripe
They bore the fruit of answers
And it was the tree of knowledge
And I took the fruit
And I ate.
The Reasons Why.

Flamingo.

Flamingo, flamingo,
up in flight they go,
pink as snow,
flying high, skimming low,
beautiful Flamingo…
Out of Africa.

Ball white
Ball bright
Ball bounce a new unpredictable height

Wind blows here
Wind blows there
It travels everywhere without a care

Life goes this way
Life goes that way
Victors and losers in the game must play.
The Wisdom of Life.

Here's a heart that aches
for what I need
There's one that makes
my little heart bleed

and I plead for her affection
she answers with rejection
but I know even though she may go
her own way, she'll still say:
"I love you so

maybe not to me, yes, it is a pity
but as long as she is happy and pleased
I'll just shuffle along with the breeze
unsurprised, I never was her cup of tea.
'Acceptance.'

Moon Love.

Moon love,
up above,
turtledove,
turtledove…

Heal my heart,
remove my pain,
"Rise the lame,
and walk again…"

Moon love,
up above,
turtledove,
turtledove…
A Dove of Love.
