It strikes, not with a gale,
but with a drizzle of cherry blossoms
and a flurry of gentle chords.
Walking in the room
Captivating
My attention
Without my permission
A moment
why can't i be happy?
i have everything i could dream of
except i don't have u
so how can i be happy?
seeing the glass as half empty instead of half full
When our eyes meet
The world spoke in silence

When you look at me
See not my deeds
But the gravitas behind who I've become

See me and only me
If you please
Boxing Poems . 10

This set was all about short, and sweet, and hard-hitting sentiments. The kind of stuff which means both everything and nothing.

I hope all is well.
A shiny stone washed up onto a beach
So easy to discover and enjoy.
A crystal hewn from deepest mine
So valuable but hard to win.
I think I’ll choose the sea-washed stone
And leave the digging to the miners.

A study in values? Or just a scribble?
Wars and rumors of wars,
plagues and questions of reason

sames we see,
times and seasons, sames we see

reasons to wonder, seasons to think
may be so, maybe otherwise, too;

same as me, and you.
Different almost always, still the same.
Sun showers, nearly always, this time of year.

Crow
meet me by the sunset tree
meet me at the lonely sea

meet me now and meet me then
meet me soon and yet again

meet me while the music plays
meet me through the brightest days

meet me with a broken rose
meet me where the water flows

meet me neath a weeping moon
meet me past a tarnished noon

meet me on my lowest tide
meet me even if I lied

meet me when the tale is told
meet me as the wind grows cold

meet me in the sullen chill
meet me if you love me still
I'm oft-focused
on the meta.

An enjoyable moment
can't just be
an enjoyable moment
without me
acknowledging it.

I guess I just like to make sure
that we're both on the same page here.
