Arcassin B
by Arcassin Burnham

Dream through the forest and all of the trees,
through them I'll arise
from the side of these leaves,
and in the fall
I'll fall again,
there is no reason
to pretend,
i'm floating up consciousness in the end,
the twenty-second time without knowing the
worth,
As long as you have a soul that could
cross the earth,
no whirlwinds
being a teen is not easy in any country,
I don't compare my situations to all,
but in this case..
depression is a ***** and so is karma,
from the nails on my hands to my saliva,
biting them constantly.

the narcissist
in a  mirror
i saw another

blurred silhouette
reflection
blinded by light

blurred pixels
reflecting digital
puzzle pieces

making a painting
matching a box
the sky illusive

connections elude
the entire image
grass sways in the wind

struggling with shadows
that don't match
watch the diagram

bucolic with sheep
another country
a photo betrays

table of fragments
that just won't match
the cabin complete

a flowing stream
meanders over
a piece on the floor

Bring the angels and shine
Bleach the smile and shimmer
I rushed in the isles of the world
I rested halfway through the island
The tiredness of the unforgiving pain
The strain of trying to explain myself
They saw my social awkwardness
They peeped as I hid by a corner
Seldom backwardness is my nature
So so in a world where introversion is a sin

I have never been a fool, just turned down
I have never been unconfident, just confined
I have never been sociable, just a lone wolf
I have never been lonely, just absently present
I have never been old, just youthful at heart

Bring those songs you chatter, take my hand
Banters of a hunter hunt as I revolve cyclically
I pass the ball in this deserted court in a park
I park my back on the decayed timber as I wait
The sire of the ailing livelihood we call life
The site where we watch as the sun illuminate
I saw your sincerity and cocooned you in me
I spoke your language as you pushed me in an abyss
Seldom backwardness is my nature
So so in a world where introversion is a sin

Christmas Lights
By Joeysguy

My son lives in Florida with his spouse
I was visiting them at their house

On my last day in the warm sunlight
He was outside hanging a Christmas light

I walked outside and my eyes started to tear
Because my wife is no longer here

I always disliked hanging Christmas lights
Early comes the winter days and nights

My wife would always give me directions
On how to hang the decorations

I now miss hearing my wife say
No don’t do it that way

I didn’t always take her advice
To hear her now would really be nice

RAIN

JOSE SRANG
Rain showers on the roof
like his bare hands pounds on the drum
I keep the silver moon on my palm
Rain showers like lullaby
I keep my head on the bunch of smile
Rain showers like fire flies
I keep my dreams with the sun flowers in the vase
Rain showers like a symphony
I keep myself in the night
To light the night in the shrine
Rain showers like fairy tales
King rides his horse to the orphaned olives
Moon floats with the wind
Princess weaves the smiles and dreams
A pearl shines in the eyes of silent waves
Grand mother hugs me with the wrinkled leaves
Rain showers like a lullaby
I wet in rain
Wet in rain like the wild violet in the night
I love the rain as you love
