I don't quite know how you did it
But I remember it so well.
On a spring morning
In May
You saw me sitting alone at the coffee shop

You took a seat at my table and drank my coffee
Pulled me out of my chair and said
I want to be able to say that I went
On an adventure with a beautiful broken mystery
Like you.

Dazed I was, you made me
Tagged along, I always was quite awkward
But there was a sparkle in your eyes
That reminded me of my father's
Oldest scotch at the back of the liquor cabinet.

Instead of sweeping me off my feet
you tripped me up and gave yourself
the excuse to pick me up again
and the smirk and the sparkle
and the roughness of your hands confused me.

And when you rolled up your maps
And packed up your compass
And left me stranded in the jungle,
I realised I should have known
That the sparkle in your eye was dangerous.

Fresh Prince
I look at her and see anger
A wall built up screaming Danger

She draws me in and pushes me away
But when we hug there's nothing to say

It's like a never awakening slumber
I try not to let her bury me 6 feet under

But her pain and hatred makes me wonder
Why someone would hurt a beautiful dove?

One who used to be filled with happiness and so much love
But I can feel her sadness coming. Makes me cry

Her hate sends men running for their lives

What makes me want her so much?

Simply just the softness of her touch.

No such thing as darkness, just the absence of light.
No such thing as cold, just the absence of heat.
No such thing as hate, just the absence of *love.
Trying to explain hate with science

B r ok
                                en  Hearts,
you try your very best

with those unspoken, silenced words etching into your rib-cage,
unconscious smiles with dazed eyes of sweet, sweet memories blanketing your vision,

to jigsaw them back into something like before.

Before, your eyes winked at mine.
Before, your fingertips said shy Hello's to mine.

But really, it is just
pale, pale imitations.

Just wait till someone colours it

red.

It will be lovely,
no
lovelier.

I promise.
HiHiHi!
How are you doing today?

P.S I am absolutely digging this new layout for Hello Poetry. EEEEK. <3
Watch as the sun
Slowly slides over the horizon
Leaving behind a touch of
Pearly pinks, dusky purples
And vibrant hues of red
Ah there,
Battered dreams quickly wither
Darkness settles in,
The crystal envoys
Paint a portrait of
Pure serenity

Hope is reborn
Our destinies are within our
Reach as our dreams soon
Come to realization
It's a beautiful ambiance
And the solid gold
Paints over the Eastern side
And it's overwhelming beauty
Is welcomed by those
With expectations of
Bettering their present
