Until I met you,
It had never occurred to me that love was real.
When I met you,
I understood what lovestruck meant.
When I had to leave you,
I realised why men go crazy for love.

Love;
A strong word.
Often used by those who underestimate its meaning.
An uncompleted word;
One that you do not understand until you have lived it.

Every day,
I go through the same realisation.
I am in love.
They say one’s first love is the most beautiful,
And that can only be true.
But I am heartbroken not to see you;
Torn by this feeling of uncertainty,
Not knowing what you think of me;
Or perhaps, knowing it
And being as insecure as always,
Not seeing it.

I could go on like this for the eons to come,
But have decided to be straightforward.
If Heaven was on earth, it would be in your arms.
If Eros was a man, it would be you.
If perfection had a face, it would be your **** smile.
If kindness had a name, it would be yours.

Madly in love,
Knowing I’m but an annoying kid,
I just want you to know
That I love you more than I ever thought I would love someone.
And I hope I am in no way a burden or a pain,
And I hope you realise how dear you are to me.
I can only tell you how scared I am of ******* up,
Not only causing me to lose you,
But to hurt you.

For as far as mankind can remember;
Love has always been around.
Whether it is a prime instinct,
An animal like force,
Or an endless cycle of reproduction;
The spiritus mundi has only seen it too much.
Love and cravings are what drives us,
Make a boy lose himself in folly
And make a man wage war.

Under the moonlit sky,
As we watch for the northern lights;
It is but you and me,
One with the night.
As you approach your soft lips to mine;
I can only live in the moment,
Forgetting about all but us.
And as I kiss you back,
I think to myself that I have finally found what I came for;
Amore e felicità,
Qualcosà che ricorderò per sempre.

Pain and sorrow
In the moon’s glow;
Tears and self-hatred
Why am I different?

Refusal and shame;
Being a dark spot in a bright world;
A clean cut is all it would take
To drown all that is left of me.

Why was I born this way;
What evil mind has cursed me;
The star that hides from the sun.
A fish on land.

Walking in a forest of never-ending trees;
The wise crow comes to me.
Makes me understand and blossom
Into a beautiful flower;
Its petals rising up to the morning sun.

Eros,
Or the limerence I feel.
Is it a sin to adore you?
Eros,
Or the way you drive me crazy.
Is it a sin to worship you?

Through time and space,
Through love and pain,
Eros, you paved the way.
For I was lost in the maze of live,
Fleeing for the shadow of Fear.
Eros, you rescued me
And like a green Pan
Led me to your world.

A world of magic where love flourishes
And sorrows die.
A world where finally
I could be free
With you.
Eros.

Pothos.
People driven by lust want to have ******* with each other. But people driven by Eros want to have a much broader fusion. They want to share the same emotions, visit the same places, savour the same pleasures and replicate the same patterns in each other’s minds.

The golden light shines bright
But does not reach the abyss of my being
Yet.
An Oracle showed me the way;
But it is I,
who must now choose the path I take.
Leaving the insouciance of my place of birth
For the big, beautiful and scary world.

The path is, however, not the end,
What matters most is how the traveller crosses it;
Living for love, wisdom and knowledge,
On a path of tears, joy, and pain;
Is preferable to living for fake happiness
On a path of lies, deceit and sorrows.

The forest is waking up
On the dawn of a new day;
One where I will blossom like the Amaryllis
Until dusk catches up
And fate leaves me forsaken.

But before the slow marching of time
And its eternal sleep
Get to me,
I will make sure to fully live my life,
For one must die to live eternally.

From the dawn of adulthood
To the dusk of my life
I will make sure to get remembered
And to make you mine.
For I believe we share a fate,
A mind,
And a love.
Little poem about how I imagine my future will look like. Give me feedback :)
