On the back of my tongue
The growing seed of hate

Writhing like a worm

In pieces like the sky

In a dried lake of red

What were once dreams
Unveiled to be nightmares
I can still hear their screams

Beyond the reverie
I asphyxiated
In the deep cold sea

The skies used to be so clear
