Crimson kiss
Bow to cupids hit
Make your mark
Pulling closer
In your hold
Arched
Air smoulders
Feathered touches
Angels heart dance
Beauty magnifies
Skies wonders
Love
to soften
abrasive thunders
Gentle whispers
Glorious technicolor

I ride through the birkwood,
Passing snowbanks on every corner.
Day's end light blinds me.
Holiday joy turns bittersweet in my eyes,
And my lips are as dry as the air.
A fellow stranger sits by me....
Does he know he shares my name?
...Oh well, I hear a cawing:
From the window I see a hundred crows,
Circling the frozen river....
Friends laugh in the courtyard,
But I will be lonely tomorrow.
Conjuring love,
and compelling lust
All the while we call it nature.
But what is more mechanical then telling yourself that you are nothing without it.
We were created alone, and happy.
When did we stop filling our hearts with our own hopes and dreams,
And start letting others fill them for us?

It is such a dreadful
blessing
and a wonderful
curse
to be one of the
hopeless romantics.

Your soul calls out to me, did Lethe make us forget? Who we were to each other?
Who are you?

It matters not, I reached you too late and our souls entwine, fingertips brush.. but I can never cross the ocean between us.

Despite all my words, all my 'wisdom' - my temper gets me into trouble.

I told you I wasn't good.
I told you that people would fail you, we both knew.
Yet you opened up because we asked and it was a crack, a slither of who you are.

But it was enough, it was enough.
I'm sorry I failed you. You should never trust anyone - but I wanted to be one of your exceptions.

I want to slow dance with you again
Watch the dim light mask your skin in the twilight
To feel your hazel gems as they waltz into bliss.
How ignorant one can be when all they see is you.
****** but let me be soppy
I have scorched lips
Ashes in my hair
And burns on my arms
I did this to myself
I saw the fire raging
In your soul and wished
To be apart of it
I didn't think about
The pain you'd cause
I only though about your soul
And how it matched mine.

I reached for your hand
And you pulled away
Claiming that you'd only hurt me
But I thought that
I could withstand the pain
I reached again and this time
You pulled me into your arms
Desperatly wanting to feel wanted
I kissed you with such fiercity
That it scorched my lips
And left them chapped
You pulled me closer scared
That id run away
when in the end
It was you
That ran
I didn't think my heart would scare you.
