Fluttering wings
in the celestial horizon.
Flaring over the beautiful things
below the blazing sun.  

Soaring and flapping
over every blossom
and every sapling.
Never to be forgotten.

Rain of butterflies
channeling every inch of grass
and gliding the tranquil skies
exploring this world's wide mass

Flowers have thorns.

Objects have sharp ends.

Dark timber thrown on the blazing fire.
The stick stirring the crackles and wood.
Wrapping yourself in a blanket
and drinking hot cocoa for a while.
Nothing could be as good.

and it will remain.

Brush back your tears,
but it is okay to cry.

even at this temporary goodbye.

She gazed out her plane window
focusing on each white, puffy cloud.
She looked over to see all the people
doing their own thing in the crowd.
She wondered if any of them
had ever flown in a plane,
they all seemed relaxed.
They all seemed the same.
This plane ride was novel to her,
she wanted to explore this great wide world.
This was her first adventure
as a newly adult girl.
She looked down at her jeans
and brushed back her brown, silky hair.
She began to really question
how long she'd been in the air.
She quietly watched below
all the large buildings so small.
She turned to everyone
and wondered if they felt this way at all?
She was excited for her destination,
she tried to contain it at heart
She was ready for a rising adventure,
a fresh, brand new start.

Below the majestic sky
lies a mountain so high.
Sacred places rise at the peak.
Destiny and adventure for all who seek.
The climb is quite steep
but the sight will make your heart leap.
As you approach the top,
turn around and stop.
There is a boulder in the way
of a secret passage here to this day.
Turn it over and feast your eyes
to the wonder of a glorious surprise.
Behind this giant rock
lies a wonderland that's quite a shock.
Hills, flowers, butterflies, and more.
Your eyes wander and soar.
More adventure is soon to arrive
with each image you feel so alive.
