She sneaks in undetected,
turns off the light
and turns on the lamps;
then like a ghost she is gone.

My sanity is fleeting with every flicker.
Questioning myself,
once, twice.
What ghost was here?
As I walk down the lonely road,
I realised confidence is all in the mind.

Confidence is the fuel that drives our potential,
With confidence,
you've won even before you start.

Don't play down what you can do,
It's not humility to discount your abilities,
If you don't believe in yourself,
others won't believe in you.

Celebrate yourself,
Shake off intimidation,

You may feel fear,
You may be intimidated inside,
But don't show fear,
Don't let other see you intimidated,
Don't show nervousness.
Show confidence.
Fake it if you have to,
Or
Faith it if you have to......
Her stance
gives off an aura
of power

Her voice
projects to the corners
of the room

Should I be intimidated?
Or should I be amazed?

Look I only met the girl
But she inspired me so
How confidently hilarious
How beautifully goofy
This isn't an in love poem
But more as a general love
A love for this glow she has
She seems so bright with joy
And confident in everything
And I was confused at how
This girl could be so weird
But so pretty in my eyes
And I figured out that her beauty
Is her confidence
I use the word no
As a tool
Of self-empowerment
Saying it
Just to stand strong
Not giving in
Setting boundaries
Where I please
Allowing myself to consider
I realize that I
Have options beyond measure
No reason to settle
My standards don't
Seem so high
Since I've learned to treasure
Myself
I make things
On my own terms
Why set limits
