I've grown accustomed to loss,
Felt it in ways I never imagined
Opportunities slipping away,
Loved ones fading into memory,
Moments I can never reclaim.
I've lost so much
That I've learned to live in the now,
To hold on tightly,
To cherish what remains.
Each loss has left me with lessons,
Fragments of wisdom I never asked for.
But is losing truly a loss
When it leaves behind so much wisdom?
Still, no matter how much I learn,
It always hurts.

Though it felt like the beginning, I knew our time was coming to an end
How do you prepare yourself for heart break ?
How do I hold back the tears ?
How do I stop yearning for someone who is just as broken as this love affair ?
My relic, bruised heart..
Have you been cut up so much to the point where it’s easy for you to let people in ?
I hope love reaches you, and I hope it stays.
