I write no more
to feel what I feel
as I feel nothing
to write & feel!
Hit a roadblock
searching my
way back home,
A home
full of
words
overflowing
with muse
all around..

On the boat
of passion
& dispassion
keep them both side by side.
Hold on to passion
most of the time
to fly high in windy weather
but when needed rest,
hold on to dispassion tight
to release & fly!

A thought about passion & dispassion..
How both are interestingly important in life..

there are keys
and there are keys

keys to the Kingdom
given to the first pope, St Peter

handed down with tradition
and the scriptures

and Pope Francis can say with authority
"I am Peter".
like us or hate us, we catholic Christians were celebrating the sacraments before the catholic church decided what should be included in The New Testament. So we always believed in The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, over and above, the reading of the scriptures.

feelings come and go
some a burden

there is a place beyond
and in the centre

all at once everywhere
its called peace

but you will not find it
without seeking

and no technique
or book holds its secret.

its a living fire consuming
without the pain.

futures are never fixed
a choice here, a choice there

you could be undoing brightly coloured bows
you tied around your dreams.

Idiosyncrasy
We write poems
About love
Why not fantasy?
I ask
But then I realize
*Love is a fantasy anyway.
Thanks for the prompt.

in a box
candy
chips
two apples
a pear
are in the box

the box
is sitting
on white
tiles
and that
is where
the box
lies
nothing special.

may i always write words more naked than flesh,
more stronger than bone,
more sensitive than nerve.
may i always dip my finger into rivers of ink that will never run dry.
on the days i am not an ocean or a shipwreck,
may i always become an anchor.
may i understand that somedays words are a bridge,
and others are the fire that burns them.
that sometimes i write the words,
and that sometimes the words write me.

upside down, inside out
not what was expected

poetry can leave you
wondering, deep.

poets are songsters
- they sing

but their songs
are found

chiselled from rock.
