"Im strong."

Looking strong,
Isn't always an advantage.
    Sometimes,
They forget you're human.
                They break you
                               And break you
                                              And break you,
And won't even bother to ask,
     If you're ok.
If I act strong, they think I'm doing totally fine.
If I act weak, they start judging n start complaining.

Jill
Swooping, sliding, soaring safety
When I had my wings, ribbed dragonfly sheer
Diaphanous as worldly knowledge
Veins, membranes, and spikes
Glass-smooth at eye-line
And in between all chitin clear

Comfort, cuddling, warmly wing-wrapped
When I had my wings, silk gossamer tough
Impregnable as guileless graspings
Steel, Kevlar, and gum
-- echoes at finest
No human copies quite enough

Earnest, peering through pale wing-shields
When I had my wings, light strawberry blush
Full optimist in rosy child-sight
Hope, trust, and ease
Lucent at sunrise
But sunset wipes the pearly flush

Thorny learning came at sunset
When I lost my wings, ribbed dragonfly sheer
Conspicuous in adult hindsight
Screen drawn, and lost
Sombre in umber
World full of weeping, sweeping clear

Our organic architect leaves the stage
Her window-pane sails, in delicate rose
Better to know the world at its worth
All sad glory
In plain sorry view
Shoulders itch, remember their clothes

When I had my wings

The air is luminous,
the pines fullof poems
and evening gentle presence
piled with gold clouds.

Full moon’s lofty face is
swept with fluttering wings
and enigmatic depths of
a mysteious smile.

A mirage of change, choked
by gentle mist – the joy of
wandering across a wild sky
as dark bounds forth softly.

Summer evenings beginning
inch by inch, their long-eyed
beauty chafes the heart with
the sudden laughter of light.

Here is radience that does not
withhold itself but pours abundance
without selection – no flinching
disguise – only the gold-blue
glow wanting nothing but the
happiness of being.

Unpolished Ink
Weighed down by rocks that were your words
I took me to the river, and tossed those pebbles far and wide,
then I found me a bridge that was burning
and danced to the other side,
It’s another Saturday morning
Start of the weekend
Last one this month
Sitting at a cafe
There’s a slight breeze
Feels soothing
Waiting on coffee and croissant
People come to and fro
Sun is out to brighten the day
The city is waking up
Time to get going
Things to do
Let the rain fall down.
Let the sky turn black.
Let the world know
I’ll
Not be
Coming back.

Let the rain fall down.
Let the world turn to ash.
Let the sky split open. I’m
Never
Coming
Back.

Let the rain fall down.
Let the sky turn black.
Let the world know
That I’ll
Not be
Coming back.

Let the rain fall down.
Let the world turn to ash.
Let the sky rip open. I’m
Never
Coming
Back.

Let the rain
Fall
Forever

Let the sky
Tear
In two.

Let the earths crust crumble, I
Won’t come back to you…
A short song.
