The red sun burns in

the windows of the city:

everything is lost.
Poem "Mille metri" ("A thousand meters", 1937, Antonia Pozzi)

"la tua città coi vetri in fiamme [..] Dove hai lasciato le tue vesti, i volti delle ragazze, i remi?" ("your city with windows on fire [..] Where did you put your clothes, the faces of the girls, the oars?")

The diary of a  blazing soul.....
annh May 2020
I want to fall into myself - to leave should’s, must’s,
and need to be’s scattered inconsequentially in my wake.

I want to dive deeply - to loosen my shoulders,
relax my arms, and slacken my griping fingers.

I want to uncoil my imagination - to revel in a crystal night sky,
a cool breeze, and a pink moon rising.

I want to meet the nomad - solitary, suspended in a sky-borne
playa, and blazing a trail to infinity.

'In order to understand the world, one has to turn away from it on occasion.'

We were two distinct lands divided by light
in my forests slept a cold penumbra
in your savannahs shone the blazing sun.

She stared with blazing fiery eyes
teeth sharper than blade itself
words sinking far more into the flesh,
piercing the heart.

How surprising
for those same eyes were once soft,
affectionate, compassionate and innocent.
Those teeth used to pull into a content smile,
words ever so gentle and kind
exist no more.

This blazing blade
Stuck in my chest
The starving flames
Licking my flesh.

The orange hue
Glowing so bright
Makes you ask who
Started this fight?

These pearl white sins
Melting away;
Charring my skin
No more to say.
Surprisingly enough, I don't really know what this is about. I was thinking of a game with the same title and I just kinda wrote this. I like it. Let me know what you think. Enjoy.

Rubayiat Al Thurab (Verses of the Dust) - 56

BismillahIr RahmanIr Raheem

In your divine love I been blazing merrily
In the sensible course of sacred flames
But none flames, scarcely disturb me or avidly ****** me.
When I eagerly hymn your sacred name, Oh my Beloved!

Oh My Beloved' I am ferociously blazing,
Every broad day and lovely night.
In your divine love, Oh my beloved
Indeed, I am blazing ferociously;
Not in fierce flames, but in wane!

Allah Khair..... Khairul Rabul Alameen Yah Arrahmanur Yah Raheem

Eleanor Rigby Jun 2018
I removed myself
And walked right through
The gates of hell -
I saw it all - blazing in flames
My sins before me -
Like two wolves on my porch
That came back
To devour me.

she sits in the dark

a **** to her lips

pain forgotten

she blew rings to the wind

with half moon eyelids

she inhaled a philsosphers dream

lost amongst the stars
