the early world
detached

in chaos there
are no limits

no lessons
learned

and shared

there is such
randomness

in connections
and there are

no deep roots
to hold us

together
to ground us

we are prone
to shock

to get your
attention

to see our
loose wires

and fix them
before they

create damage

lay down fresh
soil in a bed

plant a seed
and watch it

grow

each drop is
nourishing

it first presses
against soil

then emerges

as a slight form
expanding

up and out
ending as

colorful sweet
smelling petals

protected by
long dangerous

stems

I lick a thorn
and make a wish

I cant shake this feeling of despair.
Of longing.
Might my heart be shipped away on a boat without its mast?
Idle in the sea, forgotten of direction.
Sink as I may,  for my heart carries the load.
And shall the waves digress,
let the sailors sail in peace.

if it all goes wrong
we can all move to Saturn
sure, it’s a gas giant,
so if that goes wrong
we can move to
Titan and Enceladus.

no angst, no despair,
no existential fear and
most importantly, no Karens.
maybe there are undiscovered
frozen glaciers of oreo milkshakes
out there in the universe.

there are no dead ends,
no places you don’t belong in,
no absence of a friend.
do not be scared of growing up,
there are infinite years to spend,
just 16 candles, in a universe so vast.

good books, moments, coffee blends,
conan gray songs, minecraft and games.
time is in your hands, clocks don’t melt.
oll is well that ends well,
we can all always move to Saturn,
the universe belongs to you, my friend.
happy birthday, ollie

How awful it is
You are keeping her
But she was already
Taking ten steps away from you
And that was your first heart ache.
