Thump
Thump thump
Thumpity thump
And it flips over
Flopping on the floor
Like a ****** up fish
Gushing and gooing
Just everywhere
Oh god
It's everywhere
The blood and thicker things
Thump thump
Thumping on the floor
As though it were
Taking a final breath
Dying, right there, on the floor
(Thump)
****, I'd just cleaned in here
For pity's sake
What is wrong with me
(Thump thump)
Letting this happen
Again
As if I never learn
Always doing the same thing
Over and over
(Thump)
At least, now that we're here
(Thump)
All of this
Will soon
Be
(Thumpity thump)
Over
As my heart lies there
Thumping blood onto the floor
Blood and all of my love
****** from my chest
For all my bad decisions
Every hopeful moment
Each rejection of love
The betrayals and backstabs
(Thump)
All of it
Over
At last.
Silence.
Fish The Pig Sep 2015
at night
pitch black
king size sheets
her cold, clean white skin
and long apricot hair
lay sprawled against
his hot, smooth dirt skin
and military hair.
she runs her hand
up and down his arm
reflecting on their perfect day.
he hums that tune,
a hand running through her hair
and the other down her back,
she closes her eyes and hugs him tight
as she listens to his heart beat.
du-du-du-du-du-dudududududududu
it will never be in sync with her
thump....thump....thump...
she says
"your heart always beats so fast, even when you sleep,"
"it means I'll die early"
"don't say that"
"just the facts"
she holds him
listening to the doomful du-du-du-du-du-du-du
the heart that's revving up
to burst from his chest-
he wraps his arms around her tight
and falls asleep
she wonders if
he fears death
if he wishes things had been different
she wonders about his younger years
she wonders what goes on in his head
she wonders about all the things he does and says
and wonders
perhaps
if he has given up.
You did so many things Nava, I've seen the pictures I've heard the stories, they all stopped,
your life changed
and now here you are Nava,
here you are,
and what do you think about that?
I hear my heart
singing out loud-
thump-thump!
I feel my heart
swaying to the beat-
flip-flop!
My heart knows
the tune it hears-
thump-thump!
My heart knows
the movement to this dance-
flip-flop!
This lonely song
has gone on too long-
thump-thump!
Not taking a chance
to break and crumble-
flip-flop!
I wanna sing
to my love song-
thumpity-thump!
I wanna sway
to my love dance-
flipity-flop!

I'm a little stuck right now.
I got some beans,
but lost my cow.
I was robbed,
but they dropped these here.
Thought it'd be something
I could persevere.
Mom's going to **** me
when she finds out.
I'm going to be cooked instead
there's no doubt!
Jack-o burger,
or Jack smoked-steak.
I can't go back home yet,
or I'll be begging to be baked.
:time passed:
Rain got on my seed
and it almost grew through me
it grew so high and loud
it goes right passed the clouds
It got too much attention
they think this is a plant convention.
I lost the other two seed
Well, I wonder where this leads
:time passed...again:
I..can..hardly....breathe..
this....climb was..too high..for me.
On my way up....my hand was run across by a rat!
And I almost jumped..but I didn't quite feel like..going "splat!"
Now I feel a little better.
But it's so freezing cold up here
now I need a sweater!
Where am I anyway?
It looks brighter than snow.
"Where are you?"
I WOULDN'T HAVE ASKED IF I DID ALREADY KNOW!!
"Where are you little creature?"
Oh wait a minute..wait.
"Where are you? You smell real bad."
What did he just say?!
"Thumpity thump
dumbity dumb
I smell something gross
and almost taste it on my tongue."
I looked around for a sharp weapon,
only finding some gold duck.
So I was going to grab it
when it woke and screamed
"Clack clack!"
I quickly thought to grab it
and swung it over my shoulder by the neck
then I realized mom would love this
and gave the giant a rain check.
I tried to just slide down the the vines
but it didn't go out well.
So I pulled the ducks feathers,
and rode down
until it fell. I hurdled to the ground
still holding tightly on the duck.
then I quickly grabbed a leaf,
and the duck yelled
"Clack clack clack!"
I brought it too my mommy
and she almost cooked it well
but she noticed a patch of feathers missing
and wasn't that just swell.

Thumpity thump
bump the bump
let bass **** up
in your spine
shake down your behind
quiver in those
pristine teeth
then bump you into me.
Bounce those eyes
side to side
down chests,
up thighs.
Burst out your mouth
in a weighted sigh
that snaps shut
with the snare drum.
Rattling through your thumbs
tapping on
jeans, cotton, skin.
Cymbal ringing like tin,
lifting that chin
while the music
lets you
give
in.

If you could place your hand on my heartbeat today,
You may comment on how it races.
The blood it pumps
(Thumpity Thump)
Is taken to many places.

Let's start at my head, at my brain,
It allows me to think of you.
The thoughts I find
(Always so kind)
Remind me you are true.

The blood trails down my arms, a river inside,
That would wrap around your waist.
The flow is always on,
(Splashing along)
Travelling with such haste.

Now to my fingertips, it carries on,
And they would caress your cheek.
The warmth of your face,
(A favourite place)
Is something that I seek.

So believe me as I speak the truth,
My heart beats for you.
Just something to pass my time.

This shall be my story,
To be told throughout history,
How she n i,
Came to be,
These words i scribe,
With a sense of pride,
She caught my eye you see,
and how i started to feel,
Thumpity thump,
My heart would beat,
Each time she was close to me,
My heart's desire ,
She set my soul on fire,
This story is yet to unfold,
So al let you wonder on how it ends.

how do you still make my heart
fester and swell and thump thumpity
jump to the brim of my throat
like a frog waiting to belch it’s
morning croak croakity—
choking back his thick, velvety shot of tarish espresso
knowing **** well there was nothing else in the world
he wanted to drink drinkity, let
sink sinkity into the lining of his stomach
to drown out the fluttering butterflies
of self afflicting lust. tsk.

and now i can’t even look your way,
without feeling like I took a step
steppity
LEPT too far, and i missed the lilypad
by an inch!
so of course, I splashed splashity
crashed into its chill— still surface,
distorting it and rippling my surroundings
still while being submerged
in this silly, suffocating. pond i call
delusion.

This morning, the moon, almost snow-white peeks in from the top of the window,  And with a slight scowl on its almost round face it mutters, “Get up.”

And I wonder why the moon cares whether or not I get up on this frigid Sunday morning with snow blowing like hell,

as the cat slurps from her water bowl,
as the heat crackles in the cold radiator,
and as if on cue,
the ringing in my ears begins,
my heart thumps its thumpity-thump-thump
and I get a clue it’s time to follow suit,
time to rise and shine,
to fall in line,
to be one with life
and . . .
with a full body stretch,
a slog to the toilet,
a glance in the mirror, oy vey, it’s a new day.

Mr. and Mrs. Divine Wonder,

Thanks for never lying down on the job, I swear today’s the day I put both of you in for a long overdue raise.

Amen
