"shakens" poems
I was sitting glued, and watching my TV set, when the news 'like an hot soup' brokeout from the *** it is a deadly killing again on this face of the earth, perpetuated by the same devastated religious sects. I couldn't hold back the tears dropping down to my shirt, as i trembly squint the highlight. With grief they struck the innocents, living behing no insect. Causing the survivors a memory hardly easy to forget. It shakens my biceps to hear they were only sent. What a cruel belief! That turns their brothers to an opponent, and a pledge to obey they made from the onset

Love
Each milestone the teacher makes us write Write about the monsters that makes us quiver Write about how we can redeem courage Think. Think. Pause. What do I write I am only in first grade I fear not the boogie man under my bed but The man you leaves love taps on mommy's face What can I do I was taught that what happens here remains Remains within this household as a secret Help. Help. Hush. What do I write I am in the sixth grade I fear not the spirit in the basement for he is my friend But tremble at the sight of the shadow that preys on me What can I do Mama is beaten with labor by three jobs Two for food and one holding that leather belt Cry. Cry. Hush. What do I write I am finally a senior I fear not of growing up and taking its responsibilities But awaking from the fairytale reality each day shakens me What can I do Swallow another ambien after another Elimate enduring the nightmare furthermore Sleep. Sleep. Hush. Teacher makes us present Humiliating with laughter or Understanding with compassion Write. Write. Erase.

Monsters
How often do you wonder about the thunder that shakens your heart making it pump fear all over your body? The roar of the gods that compete with that of your stomach? The stomping of the legends that send people fleeing to their huts to protect what is dear to their hearts, the electronics that make mother nature cry tears of acidity? How often have you counted the stars that are said to hold the spirits of the superior and wonder why they too hide from the thunder that screams terror to the ears of the deaf, and ask yourself where the deemed inferior spirits lay? for the legends are in heaven were else the superior are in dead stars that later degenerate How often do you ponder about God's endurance over one's behaviour knowing that his wrath could destroy all living beings and ask yourself why He remains calm like the flow of the river How often do you ponder about humanity and ask yourself where the evil that surrounds us comes from and when will we be cured from it.
