"lowrider" poems
Bumping the hydro On the 64 impala Straight out of cail With all the homies Hitting up the club Like we do every Weekend in L.A. Leaving the impala Low so low its Hitting the floor Lowrider hitting the floor Staying to the floor Sparking up the night With the candy paint color Girls always looking Trying to get a ride.

LOWRIDER
They're gonna try to use my lyrics against me in trial To prove I've been running for ah thousand miles Many styles but the flow ******** Ten years gone ah prisoner of war To live like that with the weight on my back Ain't no ******* joke homie staying on track Ese panick attacks to all my rivals When the news hit the neck about my arrivals It's called survival for the strong stay alive You ain't gotta be like me I ain't trying to misguide Just provide ah course eye view Of what it's really like for ah chosen few That's what I do I put your life in this Ah street gang corrido is ah underground hit From the face event you might hear the violence But if you didn't keep you'll find peace in silence Step in the booth I payed all my dues If you check new tourist it's like two million views The reviews say I infuse That lowrider crews L.A County blues Some win some lose In their grave they snooze While the DJ cut it up on the ones and twos That's cool that's what the criminal say So I'ma keep riding homeboy no delay Big C Rock Mac 11 spray Got the people in the zone ******* no bang Put your hands up now put them down Only the selected could cancel the crown The rest of you clowns get faced down Las puertas del Infierno ese that's my sound Notorious Enemy that's how I get down Ain't giving up nada catching no rebound So album after album that I keep on dropping Letting everybody know there ain't no stopping This my coffin so bury me in it Intellectual metaphor bout the music business Mental fitness along with lyrical sickness Loyal getting ready cross examine ah witness Bout to fix this Situation at hand Cause my presence on ah stage ese high demand Here I am C Rocka the legend Ink oozing out my pen is carving ah message Say I'm destined to lead ah battalions Sentenario change wing that's my home in Dalan Not Italian but you get it kapish I'ma sit up in the cut till it's time to release My dominion's of angels and demons To the scene where it's needed Cause my people's is fiending

Lord Uh Mussy
When I was born, Mother named me “Novina,” and I was to be both the prayer and the answer. I was to be both god and servant. When the pebbles started flying, no one told me to hide, to cover myself or to wrap my own arms around my chest, with my head tucked in so that I resembled a balled up sacred vessel. I stood, in the backyard, with the simple man from next door who still lived with his mother, who was still the prayer, but could never be an answer. He towered over me, smiling Mona-Lisa-stupid in the face of civil war. When the Jackel-monkey rode in, on his lowrider chariot, he laughed and made the simple man dance, and dance, and then sleep. Eyes open, crying Mother Mary tears as he fell redwood-heavy before me. and I whispered “Madre de hijos,” but that's not a prayer, jackel-monkey said. And you know prayers? I spit back, my baby teeth and his flying pebbles meeting in the middle, before the pebble flew past the tooth, to me, into me, and into the cinder block behind me. He rode away on a dark horse, and I yelled after him, my diamond eyes-turned-dangling pendulums in 2 quarter time, “judge me and die. Judge me and die. I am Novina whom Mother loves.”

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. You, lazy little 'twerdnerd. Easy. Live. Take my truth, let this mind be in you, it does the hard part for you. Ai ai ai this guy, I tol' you, extol the road, ride on, cowboy. Let go. Re laxation, enemystic, plop. Plot to end with a thousand swings gnosis-not-burger 'n' fries swung wide and low. Sweet cherry '63. Once belonged to the gayest geometry teacher ever, eh, in Kingman, Arizona. Mr. Zubek, annual faculty advisor to Optimist Club, Annual (also)Highschool Boys Speech Contest, bi- annually, he traded in his Chevrolet. -- voice of experience, That triggered this then, not now I saw a ****** lowrider, brand new, showroom floor, yep, a certain mind set, kept with odd links, missed opportunities to go the other way, kicks the BTDT system of old ahas, and ahs, as once imagined… not possible, pre dementia. Wait for it, should you live so long, it all runs together beautifully, to match the beauty of the messenger's feet, in your cultural awareness of total unknowing- to eternity, and beyond. The Bill and Ted Trilogy, vs Left Behind. So, crates of lemons have no thorns. See, Lemon trees have big ol' thorns, but lemon wreaths, all on a bough snipped, thorns and all, to show those who never picked a lemon, and won life's sweetest point. Such wreaths are December treasures, if you know where they grow 'em. You can sell them, or give them away, the beauty in the whole fruiting sprig goes along.

She always had young vatos and zafado ruco always looking at her and always trying to ask her out on dates. So kindly say no thank you but she always had eyes for a younger Vato same age as her. She was all in love with this one Vato. This Vato was well-known he had the baddest Bomba in EL CHUCO. Every Sunday she'll go to the cruise on Texas Street known as The Heritage Cruise where all the lowriders and all the Pachucos go and represent. Every time she sees this Young Vato her eyes would light up the night sky. She loved his Style so much she never said a word to anybody she was so in love with him. He had noticed her so many times the way she dresses the way she walks the way she talks the way she represents as a classy Pachuca. She was always into Ranfla and Bomba since she was a little girl. It's a voice from the past, kinda call it karma, it got me tripping off this pharmacy, these pharmaceutical illusions, who's use to giving up living it up, ask me, I'll never wanna be caught dead in it, hot **** who I am?, cruising in this urban legend 64' lowrider drop top, these cops got me ****** up, word is, they saw me from a mile away, representing **** the law, it's raw and it's just the way it is and I barely seek to change though I change lanes from the fast lane, a rare thing, I'm scared of things cause they change too fast, you should be the one behind the wheel, I'm running red lights in the dead night, if I'm led right, headlights abused, unless I choose, to expose you, and frequently I do..... a new exercise of old, that still shines the shoes, and used as a simple stepping stool to step down from acting like I know everything, it's hard to let go though, those that feel me know, as you already know, I'm nearly blinded from using them on myself, my self-proclaimed guidance is really in need for help.. so I dealt with a guru who knew you too, and now he has the world on his shoulders.. making toy soldiers into real men... so will we heal then?
