Along the banks of Lake Shelbyville That’s what I think of when it’s your birthday A camp fire burning on a cool April night We two drinking hot mauled cider Or better yet “Hornsby’s Draft Cider” Talking and laughing Making up parodies Parodies of Zeppelin and Floyd songs Listening to the nightingales and the crickets And watching fire light That almost appears to be living Watching slow rolling clouds, and feeling the whispering wind Rolling in and out and over and under The engaging light of the moon and stars And maybe some of our friends were there And maybe it was only us Brother and sister Best friends forever Retelling stories of our past Creating memories for our future Waxing religion and philosophy Such philistines, think my parents And your parents don’t get it And yes we have separate parents And yes we have the same parents (Adoption is a funny thing you see) You are my funny BIG, BIG, BIG brother Santa Claus, Sasquatch, Cave Man, and Viking And I am your little crazy sister Flower Child and Sacagawea And it is your birthday And I love you always Love, Sarah Jane Gillian Tiffany Michelle Whispering Wind Grider Minks Summers Jonathan George Washington Francis Fleming Greenlee Whiter Liston Hall Aka Awesome Pagan Goddess

I was gonna rip his heart out. I'm the best ever. I'm the most brutal and vicious, the most ruthless champion, there has ever been. No one can stop me. Lennox is a conqueror? No! He's no Alexander! I'm Alexander! I'm the best ever. I'm Sonny Liston. I'm Jack Dempsey. There's never been anyone like me. I'm from their cloth. There is no one who can match me. My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. I want his heart! I want to eat his children! Praise be to Allāh! -Mike Tyson

Listen, I’m throwing hands like sonny Liston cause money glistening Mommies whispering, that’s funny business Ye. I put you on my **** list, dude got me twisted From downtown, when I wrist it Ballistics saying that these people shouldn’t of risked it. Yawl didn’t get the memo, **** you dudes must have missed it. Hitting targets dead on, shattering your holistic That ***** articulate, with a pistol whip, sinking ships. You bacon bits, I go HAMM, then I’m taking chips Smoking clips with a Jamaican grip, Black *** with a Caucasian lip That’s a probation chic, yawl mad cause she caught in the grasp Expose ****** who be sporting a mask Call the coroner fast, throwing bows like my arm in a cast Night Night then it’s all in the past Don’t bring it up ***** don’t even ask, trying to put me on blast Dog I put you on *** it be hella fast. Man I’m sending you a telegraph. I just keep thriving to a point past surviving Always had the secret weapon I just kept in in my lining On a uprising, Titanic when I capsize it. Man you swimming with sharks, I’m smooth like sound of a harp In the shape of a heart, on the mark. Cupid arrows, why you playing with darts, same from the start I just finished the spark, how you gone start the fire In the middle of dark, bite start with a bark Try shaking him off, like shacking a cough Shaking the north, down south, but flavor is raw. ***** left cause he south paw, south poor Like a ***** up north, wasn’t born with a silver fork Always went for the gold, ***** gold was the top of the goals Popped out the ****** on top of my toes Mom didn’t know, she was breaking the mold

It all began with injustice when the innocence of a child was stolen and set you floating like a butterfly to sting Liston Patterson Frazier Foreman and so many others who failed to knock you down But when your wings were clipped you stood like a man and given the choice between jail or war you chose justice and won your greatest battle by unanimous decision

The Greatest
In this very week I walked down the street And looked past my feet I saw a crack in the ground that wasn't sleet I thought that if the world is as broken as the concrete Then like Forman vs Ali We would soon face a great defeat Float like a butterfly sting like a bee Was said by he He who set boxing free Rumble young man rumble He said he was the greatest before he even knew So no wonder he won Rumble in the Jungle And knocked Williams out in just a few If you dreamed of beating Ali, you better wake up and apologize If you don't Ali will give you a beating Even with blind eyes Liston caught it first hand and no one heard his cries For he's so fast he turns off the lights and makes it to bed before they go out You can ask anyone without a doubt He wasn't the greatest; he was the double greatest As a catcher talks to a batter at the mound Talking about and picking the round He would knock you out and you have now found That Ali is the greatest And by far the best

World at Great End
Once he floated; now he stumbles, he struggles for each breath. It’s like the rumble in the jungle but Ali has little left. His opponent is relentless, stalking him around the ring. Is it Liston? Is it Foreman? Who has come to box the king? Judging from the foe’s ferocity – is the specter Smoking Joe? Ali does his best to counter his opponent’s crushing blows. His eyes are nearly swollen shut, but the boxer never cries. Who thought that Death would come for him in this macabre disguise? He tries to dance but falters; feeling weakness in his knees. He feels the K.O. coming as he’s succumbing by degrees. Ali tumbles to the canvas, he hears the count begin. but in the bout with Death you never hear the man count "Ten"

The Final Round
Have you ever seen a moon as thee look at how it shines like there are no pains in life I had never seen such a thing like this, Look ! over there a castle standing strong deep into Septembers air in the dark of a nasty storm you could hear the tears fall from Moonlights room , Look! ships are out upon the sea moving along like a sad song silence while the wind blows quiet and Liston to the sounds the wind whispers pains of yesterdays cries that hunts the night , Oh, have you ever seen eyes like his dark with yellow and some red almost as ****** as moon On the sea is many dreams but nothing as painful as this , The winds are moving holding much angry pushing the waves along like a rhyme of the night holding on to fright voices speaking out from far in a unknown tongue that would put you on the run , Darken dreams that will make you scream and put in in a world of darkness a place you never want to go a place you will never miss you can see many things in the dark that will cut away at your heart, you will loos your mind if you let it death is the frost of all men glimmer lights that shine so bright up into the tallest room way up high is Moonlight, Up in the castle is her window with a candle lite Up in that cold darken room you could see Moonlight crying because Dark Angel broken her wings He is so mean , she wants to be free but he has cast a spell on her she is so weak but she could no longer fly deep into the sky, she is locked away in darken dreams No one could ever hear her screams, whispers of the night brings on fright no love ever comes to her but the pains and rain comes every day like a thief in the night chills and dampness is in her room . on a windy fall day rain can be beautiful "Liston caught Patterson with the right and Floyd kept trying to get up trying to get up off the canvas and that's something beautiful terrible free if you have, HEART and i'm shooting to turn in one last great performance knocked to the canvas i'm trying to get up i'm going to punch a hole through the moon through nightmares and rust through days shorten like streets that have no street signs through memories of you in that yellow dress dancing in the lightening, rain and thunder it takes Heart to ask to be forgiven the radio was playing softly and the space between your 2 front teeth and your crooked little smile and then I was holding you in my arms delicate and soft and tender and i'm stealing quarters from the wishing well what was the name of that song, anyway?" "Rain Can Be Beautiful," she says.
