Slowly
Awkwardly
We find our footing
We try to fight ocean waves
but we can't fight the moon
We can't fight the world's
rotation
Or the far reaches of
altitude
Grounded
Planted as trees
on the surface of this
floating lanscape
Exist to
explore the
possibilities of the
heart
and the
limits
of our internal being

The sound of the woodpecker pecking it's tree.
The sound of the wind flowing through the leaves.
The sight of butterflies taking flight.
Seeing the lizard taking in the last of the suns warm light.
The view of the mountains off in the distance.
They are said to be the oldest on this continent.
Mesas and platues continue this lanscape. The valleys and crevices below bring forth the beauty of this earth.
Helping us to see how great is our worth. Down in the valley, stands alone, an old oak tree.
Given to us for its beautiful changing colors to see.

I fumbled
I lost your trust
I lied
and spilled the love
Why O why
Unrequited love
I regret, I apologise
I ask for forgiveness.
With a swords length love
you've loved
I cannot spill an empty cup
with a kings heart you love
I will not spill a half filled cup
A letter sealed with a kiss
and delivered to your solitude door
because when one acts the fool
what can another do?
I was unruly, I played *****
I should have given all of me
and let honesty be
I should have moved you in at Parham
and learned to love you better
I did more than blur
A lanscape between two
Perfectly me and you
I take my cross
I take my faults
I cannot blame my weakness for your pain
or cry sorry excuses to make it goaway
I failed you, precious you
I am sorry.

Picked up the shreds of my dignity
and pulled myself together one last time.
I scraped up the last slivers of hope and pinned them all on you.
Hoplessly Iost, I belived in you.
Only I traded them all in for this last betrayal.
Now there's nothing left
but my mind to drive me even deeper into crazy.
What's worse is,
there was no 'sorry' to ***** up my wounded pride.
Only a desolate lanscape where answers should have been.
I strain to squeeze out the slightest hope.
Welcome to my devastation
its all I have left.
As you aptly said:
"If you're not first, you're last! "
Enjoy the show...

Relentless storms
Awakening despair
Waves of troubles
Overcome the sands
As the shores of
A once content heart
Are simply erased
From the lanscape
Of a place called
Hope
The white dove
Flees
Leaving no trace
Of a brief visit
Hands outstretched
Palms raised
To no avail
New beginnings
Welcomed with such
Measured despair
Hidden behind
A forced smile
Seems life
Finds a way
To divert a
Path full of
False security
Towards one
Of fulfilment
Navigating around
Relentless Storms
Has only keep them
Raging
In the center.
