Why must every evil deed,
every evil thing,
be so easy to do.
so easy to be deceived by it.
Blinded by their deceitful smiles
and their attractive lies.
These bad deeds can bring you miles
away into darkness and death.
Short-lived joys and sinful pleasures are all they give, its all that you get.
No, you will never be happy with them in you.
Never.
They just trick you into their master plan,
into the darklands.
I would rather suffer to get the true Joy and Peace I would get,
than to live "happily" in the oblivion of the punishments I would get.
heyoo
so, like  because you don't feel like doing something that is obviously good for you, and that compromise is so easy...
but, if you were able to push through and see the true joy behind the suffering, you will be rewarded..

Eyes that speak without words
mute gestures out of the darklands
a pleading and a despair and a hunger
for who the **** knows what.

Walk across the red room of your soul
reach across the red memory of your loves
say yes
say no

I won't live the next ten years
as I lived the last
Pulled apart by the future
and the past.

It's taken me ten years
to wake and touch
ten years to fling all shame aside
and burn my many masks.

How does one learn to hope again?
How does one learn to trust again?
How does one be...simply be....again?

Lesson learned, lesson loved
when you do things to forget
you only forget the good
and the bad sticks around.

We live the life that has been given
all we can expect of ourselves
all we owe to our hearts
is fire.

The mighty men speak of power
and the low men speak of power
power to break and power to bind
as Mr. White explained it
a very long time ago,

Live
Live as if you were dead
and were looking back
As if you had nothing to lose
As if you had everything to lose.
Paris Raine May 2015
Awoken; the rain shattering the window,
Spoken; the wind howls through cracks and panes,
Shaken; the night's air slips past the seal and lingers,
Taken; the moon spills over the sky light and hypnotises my sight.

I awake from dreams of bitter content,
I catch your scent against my skin,
I loose all sense startled by lament
I turn to my side and hear wind cry.

Faint echoes across the land of vices
from the darklands,
Rapping and tapping,
Trying to break-in,
calling for the chief sin.

Fastened I'll fail it to give show,
to cloud the images of our time in glow,
Dreams weave whilst eyes flutter,
When I wake your name I utter.
