I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
stare into the valley below.
I said I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
'cause I can't see ya anymo'.

When you wake up woman,
don't be surprised with what ya see.
When you wake up woman,
I hope ya take it pleasantly.

I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
stare into the valley below.
I'll said I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
'cause I can't see ya anymo'.

Find your own forgiveness, babe.
Wash yourself beside the sea.
Find your own forgiveness, babe,
'cause ya won't get none from me.

I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
stare into the valley below.
I said I'll climb to the top of a mountain,
'cause I can't see ya anymo'.
i have no motivation
no inspiration
no creation
nothing at all

something within me stirs
and i have to find a way to let it loose

but i have no motivation
no inspiration
no creation
nothing at all

it's killing me from the inside out
and *i don't think i can take it anymo--

The ocean is swallowing you whole
It is cold
So cold
Your arms flail in vain for the surface
But your numb legs have stopped functioning
And the fish are deaf to the fear in your eyes

You wish you could follow the bubbles
As they ascend to the patch of light overhead
But the only thing your flooded lungs can do
Is sink
It is a terrifying moment when you cannot even scream

Darkness closes in
Though you can no longer tell
If it is the depth of the sea
Or your dying mind
You
Cannot
Think
Anymo...

The human body is 70% H20
But as you sink down into this watery cradle
You are reminded once again
That even too much of a good thing
Can ultimately be fatal
Second in a series on natural disasters.

I feel like a hero and you are my heroine.Do you know that your love is the sweetest sin?

Faith has been broken, tears must be cried Let’s do some living after we die.The question isnt who’s going to let me, it’s who’s going to stop me You can hold on to everything, but you know he won’t come back.& Now I’ve come to realize that you are the one who is left behind.

& Somehow, all the words found a way to
hide what they mean, but no one ever wins
When you live in a nightmare, it’s written all over your face.
I cant can’t sleep without you. I just cant breathe anymo

I'm a Yankee in the South
Far from where I was bo-ahn,
Th' other half of this Country stout,
But not where I'd call home.

I talk too fast and walk too fast
And speak with easy grin;
And every word that I say once
I must repeat again!

If you're black you're Black, down he-ah,
and if you're white, you're White;
I don't fit well, I'm mostly brown,
They just don't feel it's right.

I work each Sunday in the sto-ah,
I do the work of three;
Back home I went to Sunday Mass
And Godless they call me.

Godless Yank, I'm rude, I'm cold,
I started the great War -
(Not our Great War, you see, but one
that came somewhat befo-ah).

I've tried their greens, I've tried their grits,
I've had biscuits n' gravy,
Oh what I'd give for chowdah hot
Or some lobstah tasty!

I like my tea, I like it hot,
Not sickly-sweet and iced,
Brew it black and brew it strong -
No  sweeter will suffice.

Well, I'm a Yankee in the South,
But I wish I'd never gone.
So in a month I'll pack me up
And home I'll be 'fore long!

I'll eat cannolli in North End,
I'll visit Fenway Pahk,
I'll watch the city glow with light
The minute it gets dahk.

I'll roam the rivers, fields and woods,
All dusted up with snow;
The northern bogs, the stony beaches,
That's what I call home!

I never should have come, I sweah,
I'll never go again;
There's plenty here to tide a girl
A hundred years and ten.

The long-sought day has dawned at last,
And now we'll sally forth,
So clear and a bit chilly, it's
A promise of the North.

We drove and drove and drove again,
And then we drove some mo-ah,
We started out at ten to six,
And now it's half-past fo-ah!

And when I'm shovelin' the snow,
Cursing potholes in the road,
I'll think of all the Southern folk
And smile at every load!

Well we're home again, we're home at last,
I won't leave anymo-ah,
I've proved without a doubt there is
Nuthin' to leave it fo-ah!

Well, I was a Yankee in the South,
It's not what I'd call nice,
And now I can concretely say
I wouldn't do it twice!
Old New Englanders have a long tradition of complaining in a way that's both witty and entertaining. I hope this poem falls somewhat near the mark. It was written a few years ago when I had to spend an unfortunate year in South Carolina. Critiques are welcome!

I see a netted drape
Over my mouth
And a knotted one
Over my occipital

A breath of fresh air,
Still finds its way south;
To give no relief
As my ***** drawls.

I'm a southern girl,
So south you ain't south anymo',
The same as my health,
Downed like a Merritt Island Iced Tea.

(For those of you unknowing,
MI is were addicts go to retire,
and our teas are more green than the dragon)

For vainglory we go
Buzzed and slow

I did so well,
despite red in the bowl
over and over
I just saw roses

On my long nails,
under my eyelids,
in my nostrils,
Unnoticeably pale.

The pain makes me pass,
outer than cattle
In the Atlantic, you still won't find them.

If I count like a toddler,
why can't he?

He strangles my ears,
Slaps my eyes,
clenches my stomach,
hurts my hands, my arms, my spine, my legs, my face, my jaw,
And still they don't listen.

I can't blame them much.
Though I said many word,
The passion didn't seem right.
Wrong to the right people,
Screamed to the able,
Signed to the deaf.

No one has done anything horrible to me.
Nobody but me.

Sure, I have problems with my mind
Like most of you here
(otherwise we wouldn't be writers,
though I am of a differemt [boring] breed)

But that's not what's killing me.
My body is shutting down,
And I wish that was metaphorical.
Or that it would hurry up and finish.

Well here we are
living all together
In the incredible enchanting
thing we call America

And for those not in,
The thing we call the world
Living peaceably "supposedly"
and happily
all together,
all in one.
Then why are we in such an uproar?

Anyways we go through the day,
completely oblivious to one another's
hard times and struggles
Only motivated by filling that hole
in our pockets-and pocket books
Which seems to be growing deeper and deeper
by the day
what a shame...

Anyway, once again go bout my day,
my folks come back from the store

A chicken in the fridge
it sat there for a day or two, but didn't seem to spoil
Mother admits she likes the chicken from
Publix better
I said it tastes more like chicken and less like rubber
A bit overpriced she thought but now that
chicken will be bought again and again
because it's worth it she says
And no, no this is not a "promo"for publix
Just something I observed
every now and then...

I agree with my dear mommy
Don't know about you,
but I know about me,

And I,
would cry
at the mere thought of giving my child
something filled with gmo's
and growth hormones
don't even know if that's chicken anymo'
and...

I would cry
because you see
nowadays
You can't tell
who's six or sixteen
thanks,
I give my courtises
to dairy companies
and chicken factories...

And now
we got people like
me blowing the horn
on food companies and...
wanting to sue the FDA
for what they think is right and okay
to give to our fragile growing little souls
I have 3 younger siblings,
So I would know...

And so now i'm blowing the horn,
A new sound is born,
I'm blowing the trum- pet

On all Trump's pets
and they have to realize
a road of separation
and segregation
is just not right the way it's not okay

But that's were we are heading
I will prepare my bedding
and pack up my
"two piece" of nothingness
prepared to go as soon as they say...
Sigh...I'm in distress
and the thought of this
just to much stress...
And

They try to "build a wall"
but all your building is the hatred
You cannot honestly tell me
a wall is the safest...

Or the most secure

They have to realize
if you have the same mind,
Then you have the same
mind-set
And must I re-mind them
That the same thing you dish out
Is what you'll get...

Hate...Fear
love has disappeared

So quite frankly
I think I'm good in
my corner of the woods
being unnoticed
by those who don't choose to look
beyond their naked eye
to see if something more significant might lie
somewhere
behind this
Un-smiling face

Cuz' I wanna hide from the world
sometimes...

So me
and my mummies over-priced chicken
and my points of views
and my way of livin'

Can stay over here
if the world comes along then that's
fine with me...
If not, then that's also fine with me,
You see
you cannot
ever
force
change.

Mr. President
Not so fast
About the tax cut
You just passed
Thought the farmers
Would never ask
But even they
Can tell a lying ***

You’re the biggest
And the bestest
How we know
You confessed it
So many dreams
You’ve molested
Sight unseen
And untested

Would it be
Disrespectful
If I said that you’re
Neglectful
Of the ones
You never
Checked fo’
They don’t
Wand you anymo’

Now we’re all
Seekin’ relief
From the so=called
Commander and Chief
Who we find
Beyond belief
In the ways
He causes grief

"Johnny Crow,
With eyes all a-glow,
Where'd you go
When I needed you mo'?"

"I went o'er a hill
To neck with Jill
And I'd be there still
If 'twer'n't for Bill."

"Well, then, off you go,
Johnny Crow,
For I don't need you anymo',
And that's so!"
