Friends come with the fact that you will alwyas have to be there for them, support them no matter what, be burdened by their death and mistakes.

Good grades come with sleepless nights and devotion to mindless work.

Life comes with sorrow and grief as well as madness and terror.

Books come with the fact that if you read them to the end, you will be sad cause there is no more to it ocnce you are done with it.

And the list goes on, from simple things, to everything.
Think about it.

Trust me enough,
to know that I know
what's the right thing to do.
Save me from your harsh words of care,
only wanting the best for me,
when I already know what's best for me.
Mother,

I guess it's true.
Drugs always have a price.

The ******* took my sense of smell and voice,
The ***** my sense of sight, judgement, and reality,
The marijuana got rid of my beauty.

But you, you took away
My soul,
My heart,
My mind,
My heart.

You are the most expensive drug of them all.
I gave you all this and it still wasn't enough,
Loans were made, never returned,
And here I am.
An empty carcass addicted to you.

Honestly,
If you stop worrying so much,

Dad: Who cares? I just want to know the result from your report card!
Chonny: Oh uh uh they're pretty good, I got a A+ in math.

Chonny: I got a A+ in Chemistry.

Chonny: NO! No, sorry dad! I'm sorry!
Dad: Sorry is not an excuse, okay. Just listen to my lecture, listen, listen carefully.
Chonny: -sniffs-
Dad: Ok. A, it stand for the good job. Ok. A stand for the good job, you have to get A. It stand for the good job. A stand for: A doctor. A lawyer. A dentist. Ok? All the good job.
Chonny: Then that means A can stand for a garbage man.
Dad: Garbage man? Ga- garbage man?! GARBAGE MAN START WITH A G! NO WONDER YOU FAIL THE ENGLISH! YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL DA GARBAGE MAN! Just get out of my car, ok. We already at the doctor. Just get out.
Chonny: -gets out of car-
Dad: Garbage... ugh. Garbage man start with a G. Even I know that and I can't even spell garbage.

Chonny: -gets back into car-
Dad: So how was it? Your blood all good?
Chonny: Yeah, yeah, it was all good.
Dad: So what the result? What blood type are you?
Chonny: Um, my blood type is B positive.

Dark,
gray,
lonely.
Baren with lost souls wandering the streets,
empty hearts,
empty stomachs,
empty eyes.

Then,
it came.

It dropped from the sky
the way tears fall from my cheek.
Little bundles of cold,
freezing the burning
hurt,
drenching the scars
with a blanket of a new day
a new thought.

They rise from the dead,
back,
alive,
and ready to roll.
Smiles leap across like rainbows on skies,
eyes lit the way you build a bonfire with frosty trembling hands,

Do you know how depressing it is to realize you will never see them in real life no matter how much you dream about it? Or how you will never feel their touch, never be wrapped up in their arms in real life?

the way you think about me...
it blows my mind how someone
so intangible
thinks about ME of all people...
it makes me flush red,
and one comment
puts me in ecstasy for the whole day,
and nothing can bring me down.

with memories of
sweet peppermint breezes,
shivers that run down my spine,
sounds of a high, all the yelling around the house now muted,
or just really cheery, chipper unheard of before this.
