Dark poetry? Other call it sad poems, depressing poems
Most times people  are scared to  express the other side of love,
We are trapped in  our own sorrows and feelings,
We tend to shy away from expressing the true picture  
When we are hurt, we hide in  sorrows
When  heartbroken, we pretend to be “okay”
People ask why I write alot of dark poetry
Every human has a weakness,
My greatest weakness is expressing love,
I feel shy putting it out in public, so I tend to venture into exploring the other side of love
I imagine how heartbroken people feel and write about it
I imagine how sad it is
I walk in their shoes through poetry
Poetry language is loud
Poets are quiet people though...

I can only throw the ball once

When playing fetch with my dog

Otherwise he gets a complex

Thinking he didn't do it right

The first time

A recluse has no reason
No effect, nor place to go
No place to catch the eye
Nor show 
that I am ****
effortless....
in baggie jeans and ragged sweatshirt  
Beauty is for the forest
the ocean and the sky
I am an odd and solitary bird of brown
Only
beautiful in nature's eye

No poetry today.
No words for the despair.
No calming the fears.
No poetry today.

there is always somebody or something
waiting for you,
something stronger, more intelligent,
more evil, more kind, more durable,
something bigger, something better,
something worse, something with
eyes like the tiger, jaws like the shark,
something crazier than crazy,
saner than sane,
there is always something or somebody
waiting for you
as you put on your shoes
or as you sleep
or as you empty a garbage can
or pet your cat
or brush your teeth
or celebrate a holiday
there is always somebody or something
waiting for you.

keep this fully in mind
so that when it happens
you will be as ready as possible.

you
if you are still there.

Clouds that look like something
           A novice wedding baker
                    Would pipe onto a cake

Spread themselves across
      The distant mountain tops
                   In swooping shades of
                            Peach and cobalt blue.

The sheet cake of
          Remaining sky
                Resembles Blueberry Yogurt
                        Swirled with apricot jam.

As quickly as this
         Wondrous dawning scene
                               Appears, it fades

To ordinary morning
          Clouds, and sky that hints
                      Of rainstorms and
                                         Humidity.

What did I do yesterday
          That earned me
                      This reward today.
