Waken up again
from a nightmare of sin
can’t shake these feelings that you bring
or the evil song you sing
trying so hard to heal
but I’m wrapped up in the Devil’s deal

Sleeping so peacefully
with happy dreams I do believe
every breath is calm and pure
dreaming of happiness I’m sure
you’ve already paid your dues
now your dreams are peaceful and true
I write and I write,
I dream and I dream,
Sometimes life is not all that it seems,
I think and I think,
Just letting all these emotions sink.

No cure for this day as the rust has already set in .
As time is already eating it away, even before we get to make our way.
No cure for this day and the next will be just the same.
No matter what we do the days will never last.
So we must take from them as much as we can.
Eying on the stars
Look too far.
I wonder though no
they didn't whisper.
Maybe they know
the straight skinny better.
Why everyone craves
'Swiming in the moonlight
ambling by the river'!
I wished to see my beloved
living in my heart.
When she appeared
for the first time, her radiance,
her light dazzled my eyes!

But so clear I can see her eye
in the corner of it is a tear.
Days, months, years passed by
like it did then till now her eyes
whisper in every single word!

Speaks in the words in my alphabet
and in the words that are her
I am yet to know that makes me wonder!
You and I are one rhyme
together we dance
the ebb and flow of the life.
Every different colour
we got it covered.
The clouds are free to fly
down our sky
changing in as many
colours as they like!
Art, a smile like the one
on the face of Mona Lisa.
Curved like the waxing moon
above the sea.
Light a flame before a face
yet to be seen.
What will it prevail,
will it show once for all
a slow tilt on the smiling lips
—a curve softly locks on
a rose from the sun,
or a shadow beneath the moon?
This is a poem from my book Zero and One available on Amazon.
