The dimming stars shine, scattered throughout the nighttime universe;
Loneliness fell from them and joined the world, being nothing but diverse.
A million sparkles flourish from the stars as they simply fade away
While some lovers hide under the midnight shadow, begging it to stay.
Rather than that, I implore them to leave their loneliness, their sadness
For hiding under the stars for so long as I has drove me into madness!
I feel no pain: therefore I never learn and continue acting out of kindness,
But my insanity has put me under a great affliction, a certain blindness.
Perhaps it is a curse, but I have another theory: it is a sixth sense.
It is why being with someone we love, we are happier and no longer tense.
If this is true, then the stars would all be dead, and the sadness with them!
“Love,” is the one word that all truly fear, and the disease of all live men.

Goodbye, cold and dark, bitter yet sweet year.
May the next not inspire nearly as much fear
Yet in these final days I find myself trying to fight
To make one thing go right with all of my might
So three hundred and sixty five days was not for naught
And there may be meaning in these feelings I caught
The very same that haunt me with the spirit I cannot hold
Yet with the start of January comes the snow and cold
Before Spring can warm me with her warm grasp
But the illness of your love still makes my voice rasp
Partly because the only warmth I experience is that of a fire
That still burns inside my heart for I was not a liar
And every promise of love was not made in vein
Though I’m sure that love made me more insane.
No doubt next summer you will still be vivid in my mind
At the turning of Fall because of you, I will be blind.
However, this year, I saw the leaves fall by her hair
Perhaps I can one day smile and once more stare.
This year ends soon, and she’ll soon be in my past.
Forever wouldn’t have been enough time with her to last.
Goodbye, cold and dark, bitter yet sweet year.
You may have ended well if she was near.

Like the dawn hitting the stars at just the right time,
You are more beautiful than any other in their prime.
Compared to the heavenly lights, you easily shine;
And to a perfect diamond, you are far more fine.
Captivated by all of who you are, my heart doesn’t belong.
It is yours, who whispers more gorgeous than a song.
I do not need to be with you to be yours and you mine
But to be able to hold you is an ambition and a line
I’d like to someday soon cross and be able to do
Because staring in your eyes, I once flew
Like I was on some drug or sick with love
Even if push one day turns to shove.
I am more yours than ever before:
Always in my eyes, you are so much more.
When it comes to you, I will have no regret
Nor when I hold you will I be able to forget.
For you, I am willing to do anything
Because when I hear you, it’s as if angels sing.
You are the best thing ever in my life
The “I love you’s” couldn’t be changed with a knife.

I'm stuck looking at pictures
Trying to forget that it hurts.
I can't accept that you're a memory
And am still hoping you fell for me.
I know you didn't, you're not here,
But I still hold you dear.
I try to send you messages,
Yet the pain refuses to lessen.
I can't get you off of my lonely mind,
So please help, it's you I want to find.
I'd like to bring you back into my life;
Our words might hurt like a knife
But I'd die to see you again.
Without you, my heart is in disdain.
It's as if everything I do reminds me of
A place I'd like to be in the future with my love.
I cannot walk down lonely beaches
Without you stuck in my mind like leeches.
It’s true what they say: love is pain
This love is worth the rain.

A long time ago, we were on fire,
Even if our situation was a little dire.
Our love grew like a flower never dying,
And our sweet nothings were never lying.
Yet a flower can catch a flame
And the truth can bring shame.
Perhaps things that never die
Just wait in agony hoping to fly
But hope can be misleading
And the signs we were never reading
Led a separation of our deepest desires
Which turned even the truths into many liars.
Flowers that never die just need hope
But hope does not allow something to cope
And only hides the fact that we all want something
And we don't have it, and we feel nothing
But that struggle, that agony is always there
While it cries at night, "Life is not fair."
Yet it can be if someone would truly care
And in this misery, our pains they may share
But that love and loyalty is incredibly rare.

It was so much more to me than just a kiss.
It repaired the emptiness left by those I miss.
Maybe we see all of these problems we can’t fix.
Being with you was more effective than a drink I’d mix.
My heart catches on fire around you, my eyes shine
And I think of all of the ways I could try to make you mine.
At two in the morning when the bars are all closing
And I take you home and hug you goodnight, I’ll be composing.
I’ll be writing about how next time I’ll hold you close.
I’ll be strong enough to buy you another rose.
You’re the only one I see, I love you and only you
All the beautiful things in the world and you’re the best view.
In one moment, I’d give you everything.
With you, I am like a king.
So, I’ll love you to the moon and back
And I’ll search for all the words I lack.
Gravity pulling me couldn’t change my mind
Nobody could lead me astray, you’re one of a kind.
If going to that moon was the only way to see you once more.
If I crash into the water, I’ll just wait by the shore.
If satellites fall and stars die, and I would go to the darkness
I would be falling still for you, I promise this regardless.

Much like how long and as quick lightning
Flies across a ghastly and fiery sky
The fight of the heart and mind is frightening.
It's so much easier to fall than fly.
Yet for her my heart still rises high
And my mind sinks into the ground
As it is captivated by bittersweet lies
But truth is the one and only sound
That I am incapable of hearing.
The red found in a heart is the only shade
I am incapable of feeling.
For those sensations will fade
Like a bullet, the emptiness brings pain,
But some loves only end in shame.

The most beautiful girl in the world is not the girl of my dreams.
She doesn’t appear in the sunlight and somehow gleam.
She isn’t some girl from a movie, book or painting.
Yet I will be the guy who forever ends up caring.
The girl of my dreams is perfect.
She’s stunning and intelligent, and her happiness can reflect.
She loves me for who I am and who I want to be.
I don’t love her, though, she doesn’t have the key.
My heart was lost in an ocean of despair and was uncovered.
It’s hard to understand how much I have suffered.
Yet the most beautiful girl in the world removed the rust.
It once covered my heart, but she showed me love over lust.
The most beautiful girl in the world is stunning and compassionate.
She makes her own luck when life makes her misfortune.
She shows strength when alone and courage when surrounded.
How could the most beautiful girl in the world be the same from my dreams?
I would rather stop dreaming for a reality
Than to accept mortality over morality.
She isn’t perfect for she exceeds all definitions of perfection
And I couldn’t dream of giving anyone else the same affection.

We were little more than two lost souls
Looking for our way against the tide
Until I met you, when you made me whole
And I could love you with undying pride
Holding your hand was my wish, your heart my goal.
And with your heart I'd stand by your side
Incapable of breathing because it was my heart you stole!
Perhaps there was one moment where to you I lied.
I love you more than I could ever control
And I tried to express these feelings in words
Nor any action that leads me to suffering
Could show you that I'll love you afterwards.
For I will love you and show comforting.
You mean so much to me,
I hope you, too, can see.
We were always more than lost souls.
Maybe it was fate that led to you filling my holes.
Maybe it was fate who said I should feel,
And that love for you would forever be sealed.

Watch the love slowly burn;
The kisses put into an urn.
The feelings hidden away
And the mind will not stay.
What we had will slowly die.
There will never be another lie
As I find comfort with another
For you are no longer my lover.
I am leaving, you killed me!
Perhaps it was worth the fee;
I did learn much from our touch.
There is doubt I’ll ever be enough
It’s better to leave than to **** each other
You?  You’ll easily find another.
Me? I know I’ll eventually be okay
One day I’ll find someone who’ll stay.
Until then, I’ll just look to survive
Hoping to once more feel alive.
I will forget the scars on my mind
I will once more be able to be kind.

Who am I when I am in the dark,
crawling and searching for what I lost
while living in moment-long sparks
because I was far too ignorant to know the cost.
Now, reflecting back, I know that I had the universe.
The sun would never set, the winds always blew,
but nothing but love was strong enough to put me into a curse
as I watched the birds above as they gracefully flew.
All of this was so long ago.
If I could return, without a doubt I would go.
