the imbalance and inequality in our world;
Not to claim to be better than one another"

-The New Chapter
The under shell of
the tortoise looked
like a sunset.
Blasts of color:
orange, maroon, burnt sienna.
I caught them in
the garden at
sunrise, eating a
tomato or chewing into
a head of lettuce.
They always looked so
serious.

I was just a
sunburnt boy, with
cutoff jeans and a
straw hat.
I caught toads too.
But when they peed on me,
I let them go.
I loved that land.
Ponds and streams,
fishing and climbing trees.
oh,
sweet, green
youth.
I am a tiny elephant
riding my handsome donkey
into a wonderland of dreams
Sometimes seasons start in an unexpected way
Some nights the sleep is stolen away
Some loves are never meant to be
Sometimes
people come into your life and leave.
There are moments in life when everything falls in place
Moments everything falls apart.
Sometime someone comes along
and  makes you laugh,
a gift from heaven.
Energy comes free,
a sparkle lightening up the soul.
Adding time to living .

Laugh and you’ll live longer.

Laughter is like a healing balm for the soul.
Well I ain't stinking rich
And I ain't stinking poor
I guess what's important is
I'm still here stinking
And I ain't a pile of manure.
Bit of fun.
