If i were
Soumyadeb biswas Aug 2019
If I were a soldier of afternoon
I would take my sword and fight for her a thousand
If I were a sailor of west
I would win the endless sea and die in shore sand..
If I were a hunter of midnight
I would live with a wolf and place my prey before your feet
If I were a Irishman poet
I would write your life as long live poetry in dank blue sheet..
But I was man with hope in eyes
And I was a boy dreaming
I had a soul dying though
I had a heart breathing !

But if I were a child of snow
I would make your frosty and cold
And if I were old mad painter
I would use blue and gray to sketch you bold
So if I were a mountain
I would echo your name in every wind's sigh
And if I were a eternal sky
I would search you in cliffs so far so high
But I was young man
I had just a young song
And I was just wondering kid
I will wander in vain for so long ..

Blue dressed girl
Soumyadeb biswas Aug 2019
It is late night of November
This street seems so empty..
But the bar where I'm waiting
Filled with a thousand thirsty
Oh it's so long no see,
No touch, no warm, no pain
The girl comes and touches me tipsy
Is blue dressed after rain..

Then she takes my hand
And leads me to the street
So frosty, so cold
But snow melts to her bare feet
Oh it's so long you lost
I was afraid but you brave
The girl dancing crazy under midnight's lamp,
Is blue dressed ocean wave..

Stage of frozen time, under the porch light
She pulls me to the dance floor
Earring pearl that sings to this haze blue
Reminds me this eternal heart with open open door
Oh it's so long, now I own
I own you beauty, so pale love's stain
The girl circling this waltz in my arms
Is blue dressed cold mountain..

Rain in the west
Soumyadeb biswas Jul 2018
Skyline splits
Breaks the cloud
Hound of breeze
And cold as freeze
Like someone stabs
With a knife

Cold like blood
Dripping like tear
Clouds are so insane
So faint in fear

Death of a cloud happens
On the way very best
Rest is Blessed with
The rain in the West

I before war
Soumyadeb biswas Jul 2018
An afternoon of winter
It rained blood and death
Whistled peace in the wind
They sat on earth and breath
The coming dusk reminded
Them the cruelty of war
The courtyard of sand was
Wetted by the tears of sword

Some lied on the field
Somes have cried
In that Misty winter evening
Some have been buried
Many thunder remain
All it lightens after the rain

Rain and me
Soumyadeb biswas Jul 2018
Like the touch of rain she was
On a man's hair and eyes
When the joy of walking thus
has taken me by surprise;

With the love of storm I burn,
I sing,I laugh,well I know how,
But forget when I return
As I shall not forget her somehow:

Suddenly they shut the door
Between me and rain,
That was never shut before
And will not open again.

Beneath the death
Soumyadeb biswas Jun 2018
6 feet under,even I'm breathing
With your memories to long,
In midst of death in this hell
Haven is where my dreams belong

Emptiness of light in my eyes
I can see clearly the twilight
Beneath the earth,my body lives
Dark death,what my soul writes

I can feel the creep of dark
Feel the hallow of solitude,
My organs are melting in soil
In the cemetery of Westwood

My foots are so numb
And my hands left my grip
Bullet holes in my chest
But now I can't even shriek

But the dark is lovely
So lovely to love,
My soul is being fade
With the song of white dove.

Lunar love
Soumyadeb biswas Jun 2018
Save me please,
I'm drowning
In the cauldron
Of death

Hold me please,
I'm crusting
In the solitude
With my breath

Your beauty is collateral
So that I'm sweating
The stars and the moon
And lights are gazing

Buzzing the sound
Of silence so smooth
The hound of peace
Moon Ray's of South

The potion of love
That made me fade
Where the moon lies
Stars forgets to shade

Sparkles of time
Changing of colour
Creep of night
And love of lunar

Left me please,
I'm alive.
In the ocean of love
I can't swim,
I can't dive.
