Yesterday I wondered about a math textbook
From a former grade
And yawned disappointedly,
Prancing in a bubble of wonder,
"which idiot could've gotten these answers wrong?"

     A smile befell my face
     adoring my superiority
And cracked a laugh or two
     Scoffing the sheer ignorance.

Silence shortly pondered upon my mind
I slapped my cheeks and banged on the table.
I resented every smile in detestable realisation,
The book was mine.

i think it will be okay if i die soon
When the famished sun,
Once vivid, lush with hue,
Swallowed shades that it once knew
The cyan skies dissolved to gray
The emerald leaves curled and frayed.

The rainbows who once arched so long
Became a smudge, dark brown mélange.

For days the sun feasted in muted shade,
Till time unraveled, slow, delayed.

Waiting beneath the blankened sky,
Laid buried seeds, their roots entwined,
A quiet earth with loam inside.

The seeds whispered winds for rain to fall,
Dancing tropic movements to heed a call.

They bloomed to jasmine and crowned the night
A nectar sweet, a bright delight
With petals soft and fragrance shared,
A white fluorescence lit the air.
This is a poem about struggling with hormone drops

fresh new love blooms
pure and untouched,
it stands tall…
until the petals are plucked
and crushed in a game
Of he-loves-me, he-loves-me-not

Here i am ready to see
all the things you try to hide from me.
So when the time comes and you ask for me,
remember I already see all the things you hide from me.
And when you finally see what I can see, you will seize to be,
this two-faced man you tried  so hard to hide from me.
Like a sunflower, that follows every moment of the sun,
I love to see you, to follow you, my love.

You looked the same,
and yet nothing like I remembered.
Your eyes, sharp and soft all at once,
pulled me back to every place we had been,
and every place we never went.
The laughter we shared,
the fights that cracked us,
And the dreams we were too afraid to dream.
