Half of the morning sky holds the night,
as the moon in the semi-darkness still gives its light.
But on the other side of the heavens,
dawn is awakening.
With a glorious pink and orange sunrise.
What a delight to my eyes!
Night and day in the same sky.
Coexisting.
For all to see.
Darkness and light are sharing the canopy.
Just as trials of life can be bittersweet.
The darkness of grief.
And the light of joy and peace incomprehensible.
Existing at the same time.
Colliding each day within the same heart.
The night of loss,
and the day of freedom.
Coexisting.
The darkness of loneliness and regret,
and the light of God's love
and never-ending Presence.
Bittersweet.
The bittersweetness of trials and suffering.
In this temporal life.
Indeed no one escapes them.
Bittersweet.
There is beauty.
Beauty in this.
Like the winter moon in the dark,
and the sunrise awakening the dawn.
Coexisting.
In the same sky.
At the same time.
Creating a beautiful coexistence.

There's a tree in modern-day
That grows its upside down
It flourishes unnoticed
Not even a frown
It's all roots and rotting dirt
An ugly shade of brown

The rainstorms never touch it
Yet it always seems to grow
Where the low shrub is headed
No one seems to know
It's a metaphor for wrongness
For hate, and greed, and woe

                      Deep under the soil
There are blossoms and green leaves
Yes, they are now unseen
But no one seems to grieve
They are pressed into the dirt
And dirt They will receive

But those leaves and blossoms
To the bright gold branches cling
They are kindness, goodness
Still they softly sing
They don't mind unfairness
No protest do they bring
For they are well-nourished

By a pure underground SPRING

There's a song
That we all know
In pounding rain
And whispering snow
I love to sing it as I go

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

O how I love to hear this song!
O how I love to sing along!
In faith I know the angel's throng

The Creator sings
Over Creation

From His first Word
Thus Time began
The stars burst light
And atoms spin
He gave birds wing
And fish their fin

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

Chorus

There's a lilac cloud
Over the sea
A lightning strike
O'r my ship's lee
A wind from port
So wildly free

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

Chorus

How can it be
That God so dear
Whose voice is strong
Whose message clear

HOW CAN IT BE THE LOST CAN'T HEAR?

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

OVER CREATION

Nothing will ever take away the feeling of your heart in my hands.

It is not your fault that he could not recognise the entire cities you set on fire every time you spoke his name.
