i still can’t believe it
all those late night conversations
they meant nothing
nothing at all
because in the end
my mind’s always been right
im too imperfect for anyone to love me
my heart
my stupid, stupid heart
i actually believed that you loved me
now that i think about it its so obvious
that it wasnt real.
neither is hope.
nothing is real.
because in the end.
everything falls.
and your heart breaks.
strong hearts dont break, they said.
but you’re wrong.
strong hearts are strong because they’ve been broken so many times.
and when the strong hearts break.
you can’t imagine the pain of all of those heartstrings finally snapping.
you can’t.
this is an old poem but i kinda like it hehe

whoever
“what are we?” she asked

with despair, he replied, ”we’re nothing”

King Dre Pencasso
imagine what it’s like to love a poet
imagine a world of sunny skies
mixed with the hurricanes of a troubled past
but the beauty of it all
is the story it’s inspired by
Pain & Growth
just another beautiful disaster

a homosexual poet
her sheets
her sheets are soaked with salt
salt form here tears
tears that run down her cheeks
onto her nose
as an endless stream
she stuffs her head into her pillow
as she slowly dies inside
with each slice she can feel her soul slipping away
eyes red as the liquid from her wrists
she lies in bed
hoping to fall asleep
before she falls apart
